Xbox recommendations?

It doesn't look like Still Life or Dai Senryaku VII are going to be worth anything, and I haven't opened my copy of Gun Valkyrie yet because the more I read about it, the more I realize I won't enjoy it. So I'm going to take them to Wal-Mart and trade them for credit, and get some games. I should get a total of about $60 in credit.

Here are the Xbox games I own or have rented:

Arx Fatalis
Conker: Live and Reloaded
Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
Fable
Forza Motorsport
Halo
Halo 2
Jet Set Radio Future
NCAA Football 06
Panzer Dragoon Orta
Phantom Dust
Psi-Ops
Psychonauts
Rallisport Challenge
Rallisport Challenge 2
Sega GT 2002
Shenmue 2
Sid Meier's Pirates!
Splinter Cell: PT
Star Wars Battlefront
Star Wars KOTOR
TOCA Race Driver 2
Wallace & Gromit

Suggestions? (Save it, Demi. I know about goddamn Advent Rising)

You seem to like racing games..
Try PGR2 and MotoGp 2

some others i've really enjoyed:
Chronicles of Riddick
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (by far the best SC)
Metal Arms
Ninja Gaiden if you like action games.

You should really play Chronicles of Riddick. It's $20, and even if you're not a huge fps fan, the game is quite impressive. One of my favorite Xbox titles. I'd give Outrun 2 a go too if you like arcade racing. Maybe it's not the greatest game ever made, but it's damn good fun.

Also...SERIOUSLY think about modding your Xbox. I can't tell you how nice it is.

Moto GP 2 is impossible to find. I actually ordered a copy from a Gamecrazy, and it turned out to be used. Not one store in the entire country had a sealed copy. PGR2 sounds nice...

I already bought a copy of Riddick for $10 at CC and sold it... how much is Outrun 2 running these days?

No.

Ninja Gaiden really is quite good. I resisted it for a long time (who knows why) and really really enjoyed it.

Also, Otogi was pretty good. Maybe not as good as some reviews might say, but pretty entertaining, with some unique visuals.

yeah I know.. You might as well wait for moto gp 3 which comes out end of august and is only $40.. Then you can find more people to play online as well.

Did you already play San Andreas on PS2? If not, I'd highly recommend getting the Xbox version. I've been playing it for the past month and I'm still not even halfway through.

I have access to the PS2 version, but I'm not a fan of GTA or blowing-shit-up-and-causing-mayhem in general for that matter. And if I did buy it at this point, I'd want a copy with an AO rating on it.

So far it's looking like PGR2, Outrun 2, and Otogi, with Ninja Gaiden and Fatal Frame as alternates...

I wouldn't recommend Otogi 1, haven't played the second one..
Really nice visuals but very average gameplay..
Take a look at Deathrow if you can find it as well, very addictive game (especially multiplayer).

I'm not necessarily into "blowing-shit-up-and-causing-mayhem" either. Generally, I have a lot more fun with the missions. Either way, different strokes I guess.

I'd recommend moving NG up and Otogi down and substituting either Burnout 2 or 3 for Outrun 2.

Hmm... I'll try to provide some more obscure/budget titles...

If you like Koei's Samurai Warriors (involves beating up massive armies) and the whole sci-fi genre, you might like Crimson Sea. Brute Force is a surprisingly good game as with Xmen Legends (both also support 4 player co-op), I prefer Xmen legends as there are RPG elements such as building your character (different abilities etc)

Crimson Skies is also good despite my not really liking flight/combat sims. Very arcade-y

Jade Empire's story was pretty good, combat is pretty shallow and involves a lot of single button mashing. Load times are also horrendous, but production values like voiceovers and all the decision making are very cool.

Syberia 1 & 2 are great adventure games if you like that sort of thing (requires a lot more patience and cognition than most games)

Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance 1 & 2 (rare I think, I can't find preowned copies near where I live, but I remember them being pretty good beat em ups)

They wouldn't take my games, because they weren't in their system - AND I BOUGHT THEM ON WALMART.COM! >:X

No worries, I can still get what I want, but I'll have to do a little Internet magic to pull it off and might wind up a few bucks out of where I would have been otherwise...
