The reveal thread will never not be amusing to me, since it was not only clear that many people didn't play Xenoblade, but they also sure as hell never played Monster Hunter either.

I like how people didn't wanted it to be an mmorpg but now they will complain that it isn't an mmorpg where they could 100% play with their friends the game, lol XD

I think much like the clamoring for multiplayer in Elder Scrolls games, but dislike for the MMO ESO turned out to be, most people just want to be able to do co-op with their friends, but don't want all the rest of the trappings (and people) that come from making an MMO.

Good Yamagami!

I'd give Takahashi as much time as he needs!

Yeah, we need more people like yamagami in this industry.
Trying to push out half finished games by a deadline and then forcing people to download day 1 patches is something that needs to be changed.

This frustrated me so much. Half those topics were just "Nintendo copying Monster Hunter!"
How can people be so dense.

The game doesn't seem to be available for pre-order on any of the big french websites (Amazon.fr, CDiscount, Fnac), does anybody know why ? I've been trying to order it for the past few days but with no luck. I'd rather not buy it on the eshop since it's usually a lot more expensive there.

Well it's been two long years since the announcement.

5 DAYS LEFT NOW

I know the UI gets a lot of hate but it is crazy how far along it came since the reveal.

I've been keeping an eye out for this exact info. Thanks!

Sold out, Amazon.fr did a pretty good discount on the SE

That's a long review right there: https://twitter.com/BitnerdGX/status/670990740323962880

I've been posting stuff from his twitter about the review, but I'll probably end up watching (or rather listening to) like 5 minutes of the beginning and end lol.

That article about takahashi from eurogamer is really great. It's gonna be super interesting to see what the future holds for Monolith.

Oh damn, that's Angry Joe Level of Reviewing Length!

Just found out Amazon wont have my SE delivered til the 7th.

Disappointing, but not like I would have been able to play by then anyways...

It's amazing how different people want different things from a game. I'd rather absolutely zero time wasted on making multiplayer things and just want a completely single player experience from it.

Just watched that new guide from Nintendo, man mining looks so confusing. lol

Did this game come with a manual in Japan? We never get those anymore in the states. Surely it will though, lots of gameplay mechanics.

Ditto.

I knew the game might be a bit complicated, but watching that video me feel a bit overwhelmed.

ksdfjsd I just turned on my WiiU gamepad and now they're advertising xenoblade X, the advert has such a cool design I want to keep it on my screen forever D:

There's an in-game manual. Don't know whether it's any good, but it should be of some help, at least.
The in-game manual is great at explaining what things are, but not necessarily a mechanic's proper application. Division Rewards, for example, are referenced but it never tells you where to go get them. If you miss it early in the game (or just forget like I did) it's basically impossible to recover that information on your own.

That being said, it's still a fairly well organized manual given the density of the game.
