I personaly thank the guy who invented the blacklist option in this kind of situation where the other party decided to preach (even if we agree with them, they won't stop) more than enjoying the game itself. Those people don't even watch the streams...

I think it's awesome that you can't use the Dolls at first, it's going to feel amazing when you finally get one.
They will censor it for NA, I'm sure. otherwise they won't get rid of all the outraged people that find a 13 years old girl in bathing suit being something very sexual.
Do you mean making her unable to use it if you've bought it? Because that would be pretty arbitrarily limiting in gameplay terms. Why not just not put it on her?

Some of the monsters don't even care about you until you are in a mech, which is cool. I guess you wouldn't have a prayer against them on foot.

That sounds awesome, I feared that the game would give you everything since the beginning instead of building it up, it's going to be amazing.

That bit was really awesome when they mentioned it during the Treehouse thing. It even makes logical sense that these huge creatures now feel threatened by your size and thus start attacking whereas they don't care about puny humans.

Nintendo's never been in the business of going subs-only for their games. It's much more likely in any event that you'd get dual audio before subs-only. I think the localization would still take a while, since the videos and streams indicate that there's a lot of Engrish-like terms they'll need to clean up.

That doesn't change that it's in the game. Whether you have to use something or not doesn't change that it was put in the game to appeal to certain people.
It's a shame too, I had planned on picking this up day 1, but now I probably won't get it at all if NoA doesn't change the outfit(s) for her.

Considering they had to do those download packs to help with the texture streaming, I think that if they want to make the game dual audio they are going to have to make the Japanese track a download or something much like the texture packs. I'm all for it though, I don't usually stick to JP voices like that, but it's always fun to switch it for a scene or too, pretty nice to replays too.

Localization in Europe has more languages. It could take longer for the game to arrive in Europe, unfortunately.

So to go back to this actual game, I'm watching this stream: http://www.hitbox.tv/bspowerx and it looks like the dude just got the ability to invite a fourth member to his team. It seems like there is a shitload of extra characters you can add to your squad. The game specifically mentioned a couple of the named/speaking characters we saw in the Japanese Directs like Doug, but it looks like there's a ton of just regular NPCs you can recruit to your squad. Saw some pink haired girl the streamer couldn't recruit because he wasn't level 10 yet, and a handful of dudes in heavier armor just standing around for recruitment.
It makes me wonder exactly what the party system is like in this game. In the first title you had 7 characters with you at all times, (once you got them all) and you could switch them out on the fly, but in this game so far it looks like you have Main Guy + Elma + Lyn (and Tatsu) and then everyone else is like a rental character? I guess guys like Doug can be recruited at any point in the story permanently, but maybe the randos around NLA don't level up with you?

I'm fine with my 2TB but it's a Seagate so I'm actually afraid of losing all my saves. Hopefully Nintendo will make it possible to keep/archive your saves separately somehow before that happens.

Nah, if that was the logic I wouldn't buy any video games. I just can't support games that sexualize under aged characters.
Pretty much this, with Zelda gone, Xenoblade X is the only game big enough to replace it as the "Black Friday" game.

They translate every language at the same time with a lot of different teams. Usually it doesn't take longer than it would take for one language. Mainly because they just do Subs for the english voices.

It really doesn't mean much. We get Fantasy Life before you guys which had even uses a unique English localization. Since NOE has shifted to outsourcing for most of their localization needs these days, they might actually have a leg up on NOA who has Treehouse handle it for obvious reasons. The only problem I could see come up there is with the voice over which will surely have to be locked down to one English localization.
Your favorite Wii game, yet you won't play a sequel because of something that you never have to actually see, something that existed in your favorite Wii game.
