EDIT: And should the draft be this early too? I mean, we just saw Big Ben **** himself up just this week. Shouldn't we wait until the end of July for a draft to ensure no one gets boned by some late off-season drug charge or something?

Usually we do an early one and a late one. The Early ones usually end up being more fun

- I still need someone to step up and Create the Second league so we can get those guys in! Quit being lazy Guys!

- For those signed into league 1, check all the rules and points and all that stuff and make sure everything is as it should be, if not, throw suggestions my way.

-FMT I dont know why you didnt get the email for the invite because i send it along with Cyans and he got his. If you still didnt get it PM me with that either the same or different EMail address and ill try to shoot you one tonight.

As far as the date: Later would probably be better, but I'd need to go with either a Saturday/Sunday or ridiculously late during the week(Post 11:30 eastern) because of my wonderful schedule at work. So if it's a choice between a very early draft and a draft that I'd miss some time during the week later on in the offseason...I'm all for July 1.

Im not considering it as pro and amateurs. if you wanna know how i picked them, basically what i did was include the people who not only post alot in the NFL thread, but who played in various leagues such as the madden league, NBA league, the upcoming Head coach league. I also included people who i talk to on a regular basis on AIM and such. the people i know well. After that it was just suggestions from other people. They kinda go beyond "Pro" league, and i trust and know most of them will follow through with the fantasy football thing.

Honestly, i did not expect this many people. I thought something like 17-20 people MAX, and i figured id play in both. But as it turned out we hit 28 on the dot, thats why i need someone else to run League 2.

Of course if anyone flakes (and i fully expect that) i would jump in if need be.

Hey, I won my late GAF league last season. Would that qualify me for a spot in one of the top leagues? I haven't gotten my invite, one way or another, so I'd like that at least. I think I'm better at fantasy football than anything else, since I tend to follow lots of guys from the college ranks. I got me some serious production last season from sleepers. Considering I passed up LT for Peyton, I think I was kinda lucky to win. Who else picked Deangelo Hall and Demario Williams on defense? Tiki and Dunn on offense? I think I have what it takes to compete with the best of the fantasy GAFfers. Put me in coach, I'm ready to play...today. PEACE.

Since you posted late, right now im putting you into the overfill League 3, which means if we cant get atleast 10 new people, ill join that one then ask if others want to do two drafts, which should be no problem.

and there is no pro league people! Its just the people who i talk to and know well enough that i want to play with! someone else coined it the "pro league"

So, I'm fine with whatever the majority of people decide.

What have we run in the past, life draft I presume? What other settings do we use for scoring? IDP or team defense? Include special teams? Kickers? Can we modify that stuff after league setup for yahoo?

Yeah Live dradt. You can mess around with all the settings after you create the league.

As a side note, if anyone changes their minds and decides they don't want to play, PLEASE just PM me or any other league manager (coldblooded33). I know a lot of people's schedules change and they realize they can't commit the time, but let us know rather than just no-show. Then we can at least reshuffle before the draft starts rather than just have dead weight going into the league year.

You ignored my question Cold. What's the deal with Return Yardage as a point category?

Do i now need to pick a shitty #3 or #4 receiver because they are punt/KO returners? I think it's horseshit! Not to mention all the times it's a corner back or safety returns the kicks, can't even draft them!

Also Note: When Sign-ups close for league 3 and all invites are sent, im gonna go ahead and make an official thread, so we dont have any late people trying to get in. Thats where Scheduling times will be determined, as well as any rule changes should be considered, ect... Lets keep this an interest thread only.

Edit: Fine, ill answer THIS one. I was just ****ing around with the rules in the very beginning, where i thought about using that as a catagory. i decided against it but i guess i left it checked. ill fix it
