You got tattoos?

What delicate sensibilities? I genuinely don't give a fuck if you like them or not. It doesn't hurt my feelings one way or another. I just find it odd that people who don't like them love telling people how much they hate them.

You find it odd, yet don't give a fuck, and yet felt compelled to tell me that. These are not the actions of someone that truly doesn't care or is unbothered by other opinions.

And let's be honest, tattoos aren't counterculture anymore so it's more you have to explain to people why you don't like them than someone with tattoos has to explain why they have them.

And I never said anything bad about them, if anything I'm pretty indifferent to them. I said, I've never seen anyone who's appearance I felt was improved by them, and I meant it. It's just an honest opinion which you can accept or reject as you see fit.

You started in on me by quoting my post and then being a smart ass for no reason. My response to you probably would've been more respectful without the needless bullshit you started out with. I'm totally cool with people who don't want tattoos or don't understand why people get them. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

This more had to do with my personal experiences and obviously some in this thread. Not liking them is one thing but feeling the need to tell everyone how much you hate them anytime the conversation is broached is just odd to me and it always has been. I had a coworker like that who would feel the need to interject themselves into any conversation regarding tattoos to tell people having the conversation how trashy they were. It's weird and it seems to happen a lot with people who don't like them. Like someone who does have them is fair game for you to just say whatever you want. Like I said, I think it's odd.

Sorry you had coworkers and friends that think tattoos suck, but you might want to get used to it, it's the type of thing people are usually opinionated about.

It's not really a being smart to call out a ridiculous statement you made. Why must people not like what I like, and have the gall to express it!? Come on dude.

I have the perfect amount. Zero. Why would I change from perfect?

My tattoos have definitely attracted the opposite sex, sparked up conversation and contributed to getting me some in between the sheets action before, multiple times. I don't know about "improved", but they've definitely "contributed".

Of course, that was in the days before every 18 year old and his dog were covered in tattoos and they were still considered unique and interesting.

I remember back then, if someone with an elaborate tattoo walked past you, it caught your eye and you looked. It was interesting. Sometimes even asked questions.

Nowadays, it's so common, you don't even bat an eye. It's weird and kind of sad.

Im 52, so again I remember when they were something you noticed. I see them kind of like motorcycles. Impractical, probably smarter ways to burn up a paycheck, but it could get you laid I guess. And to be fair, body art doesn't make an unattractive doofus fuckable, I'm sure you would have gotten them either way.

I like some tattoos. I would never get one myself tho. I like something and maybe one week later I don't like it as much anymore. I'm too anxious about permanent stuff.

It's not even the tattoos so much, it's those tattoo dudes that get all serious when telling you the story of their tattoos. It's like hold still, I'm going to lightly drub your eardrums to stun you.. 😂
