I have dolby atmos as my spatial audio option on my laptop headset..

I can understand paying a subscription for 1-3 services, but when everything becomes a subscription, even spatial audio this shit is getting ridiculous. I hope all those trend chasing wannabe subscriptions fail and get bitten in the ass.
And yes, I'm also talking about the insane amount of new streaming services that pop out every month. Stop preying on my wallet.

Will it give an advantage to people who have it compared to those who don't? If not then I don't see the big deal. If it does though then I think it's different than FF14 and Cyberpunk which aren't heavily PVP based games.

Well I mean I'm sure Xbox does make money right? It would be weird for Xbox to allow this company to sell the audio but they don't get any sort of cut from the money being made. I don't see why Xbox would even allow it at that point. At the very least they are taking the 30% cut from every sale but I suspect they get even more then that.
