I was talking with a co-worker about what mods to do to my M92 AK and the thought occurred to me to make a thread on everyone's favorite guns (real life, or imaginary, since vidya games).

I enjoy building ARs and painting my custom ones, so I'll kick it off w/ my personal babies:

The MP5. Still looks cool especially the MP5K variant. You don't see many Uzi's in movies anymore as they don't have the right look anymore but the MP5K or it's later variants still are a mainstay.

I don't have much interest in guns... but when I was young, I liked Cosmo Dragoon from Galaxy Express 999. Only 4 (now it's considered 5) in entire universe..

I used to make all my rubber band wooden chopstick guns modeled after this one, acting like I'm either Tetsuro or Herlock.

I sold off the only one I had (got rid of all my .45 guns), but I loved my Springfield Armory M1911A1. I will probably end up with a 9mm or 10mm 1911 at some point.

My answer - I don't know why - I just love this gun. While it's not as powerful as some other awesome guns - If I ever get something - this is my first choice.

I really want one (always have since GoldenEye) but the problem is 5.7x28 ammo is super hard to find (especially now), and the only version people can buy (unless of course you're Taliban and then you get free full auto rifles from the US...), is the long barrel one. Nowhere near as cool.

My go-to answer has always been the Farsight XR-20. Such a dumb weapon. It's a rifle with an x-ray scope that can shoot through walls that one-shots anything but full life, fully armored targets.

You know, for whatever reason, I've always wanted to get my hands on an MP5, it just seems like such an efficient compact package.

But eh, I've long since realized guns are just a money sink, I'd rather buy vidjagames and new tvs or computers with that money. Content with my old trusty Glock 17 sidearm.

Yes! Finally an XR-20 shoutout. I pissed off my buddies in PD multiplayer sooo much with that thing.

IRL a quality AR lower with uppers in standard 5.56, .300 Blackout, 4.58 SOCOM, and a .22lr bolt insert. I never got the AR craze until I bought one, and understood how unbelievably versatile they are.

As far as fantasy goes, gimme a bolter so I can bring the wrath of the God Emperor to His foes.
