Funny story about Queen. Guy I know had just picked up the double CD greatest hits package. I make a wize crack about them being the greatest band of raving homosexuals ever. He being a bit of a redneck is offended that I suggest their gay. I'm like dude there called "QUEEN". A week later he drops both cds off at my place, I guess he had never seen one of there videos. After watching one the redneck homophobe in him wouldnt allow him to listen to them anymore. So I scored the albums.

lol me and some of my friends did this back in 8th grade for our middle school pop show...it was some other version, dwight yoakum or somebody but it was still the same song basically.

Jeez, who wants to choose? Such a versatile band, really. I guess my favorites would be Bohemian Rhapsody and The Show Must Go On. Freddy really seemed to put something into the music, even when it's a lighthearted song it's still powerful somehow.

The name "Queen" was derived from the Queen of England. Their band logo is the royal crown. It was a few years after they chose the name that Freddy started to experiment with homosexuality.
