I really do like Eminem's rhymes, but he gets annoying FAST. But then hip hop hasn't been my scene for a while now.

after listening to it more...here are my refined thougts:
here is my take on it: rain man is frikin awesome and its more in line with "kill you" and "criminal" and its the type of songs i enjoyed tons of off mmlp and sslp. now only if big weeny and my first single were like that. i can stomach a lot of the shock eminem puts into his lyrics and i rather enjoy the dark humor but this seemed forced. my first single hell would have been better with a diff beat.
now i was just thinking...u remove say ass like dat, big weeny, and maybe even my 1st single and replace with the 3 tracks on the bonus cd and boom u have album off the year and maybe even his best work yet. and i also have a problem with never enough being so damn short...i expected a 3rd verse.
other than that i can enjoy the whole abum...crazy in love is pretty damn good after a couple of listens. the tracks i really are:
never enough
evil deeds
mockingbird
toy soldiers
crazy in love
rain man (cant enough of this track...dre beat is crzy)
spend some time
yellow brick road (wish there were 1 or 2 more tracks like this)
mosh
encore-another crazy beat
love u more
we as americans
tick tock
^^^ i can listen to those songs off of one album and thats pretty damn good and IMO i consider them good to great^^^^
now the ok songs:
one shot 2 shot...meh
puke...i dont mind a kim song but its not dark enough...
the horrible:
big weenie-no
ass like dat- dont like it at all...complere waste of space, time, and talent
just lose it-i dont mind the beat..if only his verses were good
my 1st single-if only a diff beat to this
i think thats all of em...now im not going to call this cd classic but its far from horrible. i can take a album with 4 horrible tracks and the rest that i can listen to especially with some of them being classic material. now that doesn speak about my expectation and that is where i did get dissapointed. i didnt think em would make songs like the ones i listed as horrible..i expectm more from him and say he replaces those trakcs with some hot tracks like 8 mile and u have IMO a album close to classic with some serious introperspective material, some about his wife and kids, some about his place in the game, and some humor.
oh well maybe his next album. i dont know where it ranks with his other albums but it has grown on me...better than tes? maybe but i dont think i like it yet better than mmlp or sslp.
and when is eminem goint to collabo with people like nas and jayz?
