Your Scariest Experience

Happened last Friday night, but...MUCH BETTER NOW. Getting help. Mods if you wish to ban me or lock this thread I understand. It's grim reading, but may help someone else.

I was hurting myself for 2 months prior to this event, but it was getting gradually worse. Until, it eventually ended up as a result of me trying to end things. Won't post any graphic parts of story, but PM me if you want to know more details to know what I did to end my life, but how it affects the ones you love AND LOVE YOU.

It really does good to tell medical professionals about your issues. You don't realise how much people care about you.

Apart from that, I will say another experience involved me at age 7 riding on my BMX, and going over a car and landing face first into a wall. Or the time I went trick or treating with a girl and some dude invited us into his house when we were kids. Was scary as hell. We went in, but something felt really strange. I was pretty streetwise, so stayed near the front door the whole time. What was 5 minutes felt like an hour.

In recent memory, walking alone on a deserted forest path at night with no lights anywhere. Could barely see. I freaked myself out thinking of a video I watched of a Russian guy being brutally murdered in the woods. I was shitting myself the whole walk.

Thank you. Same here with anyone else on here. We should all look out for each other on here and everywhere else.
This is a virtue that has been diluted in self-indulgence within society. We co-create this reality together and when the natural balance of life is upset, many of us can feel left behind, as we transition into a new era, it is of utmost importance we support each other, in the right way.

Let me guess, was it that three guys video?

May have seen that video back in the day. Poor guy, I think he just got over his cancer treatment too. Those pricks murdered animals as well, including cats, and I love those furry flea-bitten bastards. Also killed dogs, and I'm happy they're behind bars. Think they were Ukranian.

It is often said, the worst thing of torture is the psychological anticipation of said torture than the act itself.

Consider the fact, they act out of fear rather than strength, there is no fun in that, in the end they will lose and the victim will win.
But they're still alive and he's dead, for the whole internet to see. This is what they wanted and that's infamy. Everyone remembers the killer more than the victim.

Nearly drowned when I was 16/17.

Friend talked.me into floating down rapids on my back and made it sound easy. When we go up there I was thinking he's insane. We're talking high level rapids for kayakers and shit. Just dumb all around.

He jumped in without a second thought, me and buddy looked at each other and said fuck it. Second I hit that water i knew I had made a huge mistake.

5 minutes of trying not to die as I hurdle down rapids, knees/legs bouncing off rocks, constantly being pulled under. Just a shit time all around.

When we made it back to the beach I could barely tred water, puked up a bunch of water. No one really cared. Good times.

To begin with, you have no idea how it began. Who spurred it on, and how bit reached the level it did. Nuance is lost, pretty much most of the time, because we succumb to our own fears through empathy. If you subscribe to the idea that being alive in this moment is all there is, with no greater purpose, that fear is amplified.

No wonder you call yourself 'timeflais' because I read your post over and over trying to understand what you meant and an hour has gone.

Much love to you dude, but I was always a bit slow in school. I was still eating lunch whilst you were doing your homework lol.

My name holds more secrets than you know.

I left clues in the past, but since you said this i am more than happy to give another clue.

Aaaah A1. They were a boy band back in the 90's. Either that or it's a size of paper. So either you're a singer or you work for a printing company.

Only you are testing your own sanity.
Ha, too true. You're laying out the breadcrumbs, but I'm the duckling that follows in the direction. Ha, to say I'm slow, I'd say that's a good metaphor. Though turtle instead of duckling. And when I say turtle, I mean that's one without any use of its legs.

Aren't you sure you meant to say, under the current circumstances you are "unwilling to try".

Level 27 Turbulence while landing in Atlanta on an AirCanada flight. We hit an air pocket or some shit a few minutes before landing. Shit was crazy. Entire cabin after smelled like half the plane shat their pants. A lot of crying. Visibly and audibly disturbed flight crew.

Guess you never watched Die Hard 2 Stou dude. Shit was crazy there.

Happy you survived. your avatar constantly cracks me up. Never been on a plane myself, but would make me shit myself too.

I was going to say going for a jog at 2 in the morning to then have a homeless man step out from some shrubs, to then point at me and say to me "look at the damage you've done!"

but your story takes it, I hope your better

Seriously this is the best advice possible. Shit, people get medical help for hemorrhoids, but try to tough out suicidal thoughts. I legit don't get it. Glad you're here OP, we're all floating together :messenger_heart:

If a homeless man stepped out at me at 2AM, I'd have a heart attack and he'd be the one telling the story.

Sounds crazy, but in the 80s I went to Disney World and did Space Mountain.

I don't remember if there's seatbelts or whatever, but I remember I had to hold on to whatever was in the car as hard as possible to not get thrown out of the car. Either I wasn't told how I should sit, or something was messed up.

I swear to god if I was sitting in the seat normal or gripping onto something lightly I would have been tossed from my seat. I remember the ride to be moderately fast with hard turns.

Crazy girl told me she was pregnant. Then a week later was all like ... yeah, my bad, just kidding.

Came close to dying when I was 15 after taking acute appendicitis while on holiday in Clifden. Parents brought me to the hospital there and there was no one around so they had to drive me to Sligo hospital instead, about 90 miles away. Barely conscious when we got there and was taken immediately to surgery. Scared the absolute bollocks out of me. Still the most pain I've experienced.

Go Go Neo Rangers!
I almost killed myself with a smoothie. Body developed OAS. Had no idea.

Made a banana orange smoothie took a big swig and my throat almost closed entirely. If I would have taken half a second more of smoothie I'd likely be dead.

I once almost drowned in the ocean where I got into an riptide.
Were it not for two very fit dudes from switzerland being there, I would be dead for ten years.

This experience is still traumatic for me.

That moment when you realize you will die is crazy.
