But being serious i know it doesn't count but i'm considering games that i played on PS5 even tho they released on previous gen.. games like The Last of Us 2 and Ghost of Tsushima, playing them on PS5 is game changing and was worth the wait.

I think PS1 and 3 were the best for exclusives. The last 2 generations I played mostly on PC, but still got a PS4 and 5 on launch for Naughty Dog/Guerilla exclusives basically. I think the PS2 is the most overrated console ever, original Xbox had better exclusives (Halo 2, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Jet Set Radio Future, Phantasy Star Online, Splinter Cell, Kotor, Jade Empire) and all the 3rd party games looked better on it.

Ok, i get that you like the Xbox exclusives but calling the PS2, probably the best console of all times, overrated is a bit of a stretch.

Just exclusives:
Gow1/2, Metal Gear 3, Ace Combat 4/5/0, Final Fantasy 10/10-2/11/12, Dragon Quest 8, Kingdom Hearts 1/2, Tekken Tag/4/5, Persona 3/4, Front Mission4/5, ICO/SotC, Gran Turismo 3/4/tourist trophy, Yakuza 1/2, Virtua fighters 4/5 Devil may cry 1/2/3, 3 jak dexters, rachet clanks, Onimusha 2/3...

And that is just of the top of my head and not even considering the multi platforms...

The sheer volume of triple A exclusive games is just absurd.

8 of the 16 games I listed were Western developed and 8 were Japanese developed. I think Xbox beats PS2 handily when it comes to Japanese games with all those Sega exclusives.

Of all of these PS2 "bangers" he listed: Gow1/2, Metal Gear 3, Ace Combat 4/5/0, Final Fantasy 10/10-2/11/12, Dragon Quest 8, Kingdom Hearts 1/2, Tekken Tag/4/5, Persona 3/4, Front Mission4/5, ICO/SotC, Gran Turismo 3/4/tourist trophy, Yakuza 1/2, Virtua fighters 4/5 Devil may cry 1/2/3, 3 jak dexters, rachet clanks, Onimusha 2/3.....

I don't think any of those are worth playing ever again except the Personas, Shadow of the Colossus and Final Fantasy X.
 
Ok, that's your point. But (imho for almost everybody else) it's hard to compete against this kind of lineup year after year.
