Just finished this one on Prime Video, thanks to a recommendation from Kadayi :





What a treat. Beautiful cinematography, memorable characters, intense action sequences with a high level of tactical authenticity, and a killer soundtrack by Mogwai.

It's a Narcos-style crime drama that follows three sets of intersecting characters: a Mexican special forces unit in Monterrey, an Italian mafia family in Calabria, and a family of drug brokers in New Orleans.

This one really packs a punch.

Highlight the Cinematography. It is glorious. But yeah highly recommended.

Seriously...Vampiro. Damn. Mexican Outer Heaven.

Don Minu was great too, living that traditional honor and family code. And the NOLA siblings tied everything together.

I ended up watching the first episode again, goddamn it's beautifully shot. Also, I loved the Grandsons house. That Mafia money going to some good use.

Looks interesting as someone that enjoyed Narcos. I really need to get Prime at some point. I've always been just Netflix, but Prime has been adding more stuff lately that has caught my eye. I have heard a lot of good things about The Boys as well on that service. It sounds like they are stepping their game up a bit with original content.

This was absolutely top tier. Probably the best piece of narco fiction I’ve ever seen.

Writing acting and plot all top shelf. Ending was absolutely perfect.

Damn what a series. Great cinematography with nice action sequences. The story really comes together at the end. The DP really like to use one continuous shots. What kind of budget does Amazon have?

If I were to nitpick I thought the brother's condition was unnecessary and felt shoehorned in.

That intro song is stuck in my head.
