Not the best the genre has to offer, but still a fun watch when you have the time......

It is honestly one of the worst films I've ever seen. Day of the Dead and Army of Darkness are class, though.

Are you kidding? Return of the Living Dead Part 3 was hilarious! You may be looking at it the wrong way, if you look at that whole series of Return movies as comedies then they hit the spot.

The talking zombies were the best part of Return 1 and 2. Like when some zombies are cruising around in a car and one points to some people and shouts "Hey look! Brains!"

Or the zombie pretending to be a cop in the first one.

Return 1 had some great zombie rush scenes. The way the two cops got rushed was pretty violent I thought.

RotLD 1 & 2 were fun. I liked the zombie in a barrel and the scene where they lure zombies by throwing brains off the back of a truck. Then there was the bitch that allowed her boyfriend to eat her brain.

Why is it SciFi will play the crap out of Day of the Dead, but never Dawn? It is unequivocally Romero's zombie-opus. Day is decent, and gets bashed more than it deserves, but it simply doesn't compare and has one serious cop-out of an ending.

It probably has to do with licensing rights....that and the fact that Sci-Fi is a pretty cheap channel and Day probably doesn't cost much...

IFC will play it once in a full moon, but I can't imagine the rights to the movie costing that much - it's still only a cult favorite. Granted, the Sci-Fi version would wind up being about 10 minutes long after the censoring, but such edits are part of the fun.
