Afaik Lain is from Italy, they got all the Yamatogawa there albeit with minor censorship way before us. Although I honestly don't know much about the Italian hentai side of the market.
I found the latest series of Yamatogawa's oneshots kinda boring, they're not bad but, not exactly great either, if it wasn't for his artwork I'd call them forgettable. The one from Comic Koh should get translated in the near future but I'm not expecting much from it.
If I were to point out a vanilla artist, I really liked Homunculus' Renai Sample collection that recently came out. I think all of the stories are translated but they're redoing it as a tank collection and translating the extras.
Hyocorou's a hit or miss for me. I like MARUTA (and his fetish for girls wearing boyish underwear lol), I really like his Boku to Kanojo no Hikakuteki Naisho no Nichijou, probably one of my favorites. Sadly don't care as much for his Comic Shitsurakuten work/series.
Hisasi... hit or miss, especially with the stranger stuff, he definitely gets a two thumbs up for the recent oneshot with the tomboy, especially for the follow up. Shiwasu no Okina, hit or miss, especially when he lets his fetishes get the best of him, Girlfriend Boyfriend Girlfriend is probably on my favorites though.
NaPaTa \o/ another great vanilla artist (well mostly vanilla), actually the first (and only orz) tankoubon I imported from Japan, even paid 500 yen shipping to get a tokuten card with the backcover illustration. ReDrop, I like the art but story and character-wise is a hit or miss. Bless the duo for doing Makoto doujinshis.
Wow, way to show my power level. I should probably come up with a list or something instead of just commenting.
Overall Yamatogawa is more vanilla true. I was thinking more along the line of the sillyness of their stories, from premise to end though, when I said that, which might be wrong thinking harder about it.
On he other hand though, we got Yui Toshiki's My Sisters, which deals with some incest and sorta NTRish in a way, so there could still be some chance.
The faces on the first few pages make it really hard to make out what's actually happening. Why is the black haired girl so excited at the snot? Is she trying to eat Historia's brain a few pages later? I don't get it.
Hm, I guess an incomplete list of people I've probably bookmarked more than once: Pierre Yoshio, Minato Fumi, Musashimaru, Inou Kiyoshirou, Doumou, Sabashi Renya, Kisaragi Gunma, mogg, kanbe, Konchiki, Yuzki N Dash, Cuvie, Takemura Sessyu, Naruko Hanaharu, Sameda Koban, meme50, Yukimi, Yurikawa, Shiden Akira, Aduma Ren, Takemasa Takeshi, Kei Arai, Shimimaru, saitom, pinvise, etc.
Mostly artwise I guess, some have stores that aren't my thing but the artwork is too good to pass on, some have better stories that make up for the mediocre artwork.

About the minor censorship.
Tayutayu got a panel removed with the author consent (the one where flashback young girl shows her pussy to flashback young male protag) here, which makes me wonder how the American edition dealt with it.
About the hentai side of the market, it seems to be doing quite well from what the publisher said, though we don't have the amount of releases I see from Project-H. We did get Distance, Amatarou, Yamatogawa, Yui Toshiki, Amatake Akewo and are waiting on more (Fukudahda, Enomoto Heights and more Amatarou), plus there are Haruki and Harumi Chihiro on the... softcore/plot-with-porn side, with Ken Kurogane joining in the future and without forgetting My Balls which is getting released now.
Oh, I didn't know Akio Tanaka's (Shamo's illustrator) River's Edge Ookawabata is getting a TV drama http://natalie.mu/comic/news/109524 (they announced cast&staff). Lain should probably know the title lol, the rest... I wonder. I remember seeing it listed when it got released in Italy.
Slightly fast paced closed to the end but a really nice BL on one who adores his teacher so much and dreams of living with him. Meets him in the future and fortuitously gets to stay with him after being fired. Loved their short time together even if sensei was in a teacher mode the whole time. Hope to see more of her works come in English.
Bitansan Danshi is another entry in the best type of BL mangas, the ones with friends/roommates become lovers that although has many of the trademark inclusions for the genre does it in a way that never failed to make me smile and keep flipping pages. I may never tire of the same elements being present in every story. Here it did feel really sweet and touching to see Miki realize that Souta liked him in the smallest of ways. I chuckled at some of the comments and then noticing Souta too. Playing the game with his words did make Miki seem a bit cruel but at least it did bring about realization and confrontation. Souta is just a big ball of joy and happiness and so memorable. Lovely story.
I was listening the latest Weekly Manga Recap, and apparently Viz really doesn't know what they're doing.
In One Piece, Diamante's Devil Fruit was translated as the "Ripple Ripple Fruit". Not "Flutter Flutter", which would make much more sense since the Japanese name "Hira Hira Fruit" is the onomatopoeia for a fluttering flag. It only confused one of the hosts by thinking it's like the Ripple from Jojo.
Yeah, just more leverage I need not to renew my subscription to Viz Jump... Stephen is a moron.

Spotted the new DeNA Manga app for iOS (and I think Android) called Manga Box. Anyone know much about the titles on that? With it all being free I assume they are all lower tier manga titles.

They are all pretty amusing and they have updates every day. Most series gets a new chapter every week.
Only problem is that most chapters are pretty short probably due to this. While for some series, not a big deal since they are 4koma in nature or comedy so it doesn't seem weird, some of the other series just seems to have their chapters split into pieces. Not even sure if this how the series were originally released.
Also, I have no idea if you can actually look up old chapters on their webpage.
