So they all passed?
I love the multiple layers that this joke works on. Brilliance right here, folks.
So they all passed?
There are people who believe that violence and death of any kind is horrible no matter who does it and no matter what reasons, and believe no one should kill/hurt anything ever. I call them extreme pacifists.
Believing that 'violence and death of any kind is horrible' doesn't make you a pacifist, let alone an 'extreme' one.For some reason this made me think of a quote by Christopher Hitchens:
If the counsel of the peaceniks had been followed, Kuwait would today be the nineteenth province of Iraq. Bosnia would be a trampled and cleansed province of Greater Serbia, Kosovo would have been emptied of most of its inhabitants, and the Taliban would still be in power in Afghanistan. Yet nothing seems to disturb the contented air of moral superiority of those that intone the "peace movement".
I did not claim at all that Islam is a religion of peace. I have read the Quran from cover to cover. I'm a practicing Muslim, and Islam is not a religion of peace. Rather, it deals with war and peace. "religion of peace" was uttered by Bush shortly after 9/11, and became a source of mockery after that. It deals with violence, because the early Muslims were besieged with violence and had to take up arms to survive. Early Meccan Muslims were tortured, speared, and beaten for practicing their faith. Quran deals with the 3 wars that ensued between the Meccans and Medinans over a period of 23 years, and also various treaties that were formed with the Medinans, Byzantines and other polytheist tribes in the desert, violation of which resulted in battles.The verse you mentioned deals with one battle that ensued between Mecca and Medina, after 13 years of passiveness from the Muslim community.Please read the Quran before making claims that Islam is a religion of peace. The book calls repeatedly and relentlessly for war with non-believers. It does so with repulsive imagery of chopping off infidel heads, I might add.
You're right that the bombings are political in nature, but "political in nature" is not mutually exclusive with "religious."
So they all passed?

Can't believe people here are celebrating the deaths of innocent brainwashed and coerced kids![]()
* This is Iraq.Certainly seems ironic how many people in this thread are screaming "ignorant idiots." Put your 10 year old self in the Afgani countryside herding goats when the town wise man asks if you want a better life. Most of the kids have no idea of the outside world.
* This is Iraq.
* You know as much about the lives and background of these students as we do, which is nothing.
I want to make a punbut I'm worried it could blow up in my face.
I honestly never understood the appeal of 72 virgins.I wonder if he'll get banned from terrorist heaven for team-killing.
That statement is assuming a whole lot of things...Consider this this tautology: If you were born as these people, you would be these people.
Consider this this tautology: If you were born as these people, you would be these people. We don't know anything about them, but whatever led them to where they were, it's unfortunate for everyone involved.
Mind blown.
So they all passed?
With flying colons.
So they all passed?
class dismissed
lol
"The militant who was conducting the training was not identified by name, but he was described by an Iraqi Army officer as a prolific recruiter who was able to kill the bad guys for once."

Who wants to deal with that over and over and over again?
Pretty tasteless comments in this thread. Smh.
I have no pity for the dead individuals, but I fully understand people who believe that suicide bombs is the only form of resistance against the oppressive military might of the United States.
Against giants, conventional methods are useless. They cannot wage war against soldiers that are, from their point of view, equipped with future technology - not without resorting to unconventional methods.
I find it a deplorable tactic, for sure, but I understand it - and I think more understanding will help end the cycle of violence.
This is in Iraq the U.S is practically out of Iraq.
These bombs are for killing civilians and the Iraqi security forces, its mostly a Sunni was Shiite fight against the U.S.
Which from their point of view could be interpreted as yet another, lingering touch of American Imperialism.
Confined spaces help too.21 dudes and the himself... How much explosives was the instructor packing for a training exercise to blow that many people up?
