PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4/PSP) | February 2014

It's not that bad, i guess it tries to somewhat resemble the PS4 ui.

Reposting from the other topic:

XBLAZE (Visual Novel from the universe of Blazblue) will be released on the US!!!

Aksys, why u so godlike?
I predicted somewhere that at least a visual novel would have been localized :)

Not surprising.

Mother of God.

Unrelated question, what's everyone's beef with the Vita's shoulder buttons? I have absolutely zero issues with them and don't understand the criticisms. Plus they're clear, which is awesome.

The right shoulder button on my oldest Vita is becoming a bit less responsive. It doesn't always register my presses if I don't press it just right. Otherwise it's fine.

I just hear so much commotion about them re-working the shoulder buttons, or in any comparison thread, they get slammed for some reason. I legitimately don't understand the complaints, they work great and hitting them is easy but not so much so that it'd be accidental. My fingers literally rest right on them, how are people holding this thing?

Finished Walking Dead on Vita. It had some performance hitches (mostly when changing scenes or such) but it wasn't as bad performance wise as some made it out to be.

It certainly performed better than The Wolf Among Us (especially episode 2) does on PS3. What a shit show.

With all these new localizations announced here's hoping for Yandare hell to be announced tomorrow!

Isnt she adorable?

I'm fairly certain those games have performance issues on every platform :P Definitely not a technical showpiece.

Oh, yeah, Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us don't really run particularly great on anything. I dread to think how that latter will run when it's finally out on Vita. I was gonna wait for that but... maybe it's for the best I didn't.

The Wolf Among us has terrible terrible, framerate, loading, stutter, skipping issues on every fucking platform.

The game itself is a mess. which sucks since it's probably alot better than TWD.

Damn, I thought I would have some time this morning before the store updated to take advantage of the Persona sale. They're already back to full price ;_;

This really bothered me - same with the new Walking Dead season. Why does it run so poorly? It's a console, it should be optimized to spec. I understand they're swamped with all the new IPs they brought on, but it's unbelievably choppy when saving or loading a new scene

You would think they have a handle on the engine they're using since it's ported to every platform under the sun and they've had alot of time to mess around with it on TWD. But it's technical issues seem more pronounced in Wolf Among Us.

The excitement that builds up during tense moments is suddenly deflated when I'm put into a simple context sensitive sequence and I'm fighting the controls and the framerate for even the slightest bit of movement.

Rats looks like the Persona sale is over, it's been sitting in my cart for a week. Oh well I guess I'll have to catch it next time

Telltale Games games are overrated. They should hire more programmers to fix their shitty in-house engine if they want me to care about them again. It seems to get worse with every game.

I'll come back and say when it's up with discount. I'm always checking.
It's because of that thread I'm watching Mirai Nikki.
Yuno is the alpha-yandere.

Awwww she just wants somebody to live love.

I'm about to see if loosening on of the screws helps.

Wow, the XBlaze post on the SCEA blog forgot to mention it's also on Vita. That's the second fucking time something like this happens this month (last time was DBZ).

I dunno either. They work as they should, I certainly prefer them over the 3DS shoulder buttons. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. I wouldn't mind some sort of addon for remote play with triggers though. Backtouch isn't cutting it for me.

Now to decide whether or not to buy Danganronpa!

I thought I recall it running pretty poorly on that as well :/ Mind you, the PC can muscle through it, but it's a pretty far cry from being optimized lol.

Nah, it runs pretty okay on the PC, which is to say it runs a lot better than The Walking Dead S1 and looks a lot better too.

I haven't played it on console though.

Pretty confused by TxK so far but it's REALLY cool.

Is it good? Is it just an adventure game or does it have any classic Pac-man stuff?

It's very good and has classic Pac Man gameplay in a pseudo 3D plane. Platformer adventure game. I loved it and bought it in the 90's when it came out.

I don't know what it is exactly, but man I just can't bring myself to care about Pac-Man in the slightest. Every Pac-Man announcement to me is a non-event. Maybe I'm a horrible person.
