They are going to focus most of their time on SMT4, DK:TF, Yoshi, MK8 and whatever else releases this spring. They will an ounce a new title or two. There will be a smash trailer with a newcomer and probably a Bayou 2 trailer. Everyone will whine and cry saying "that's it".
This is what happens every single direct. Nintendo explicitly states it will only be discussing games coming out in the next few months. However they will sneak in an announcement of an upcoming game and reveal a trailer from one of their most anticipated titles. People ignore what has happened for 90% of the directs Nintendo has done and are upset when all of their dream titles weren't anounced.

This is a little bit different though. Not saying it'll be the end all, be all direct, but at least this is a more appropriate forum for showing off new games.
Also, I don't doubt there will be a surprise or two amongst the bunch. More often than not there always is, even if they don't fall into Nintendo's rigidly defined "focus." I'm optimistic about this one. Zelda Wii U and/or Majora's Mask 3D would really be a nice "chin up" for Nintendo fans right now.
