It's because we always see some kind of batshit left field announcement that we never thought about wanting to happen like Hyrule Warriors. It's always a fun time at least.

Serious question - how many of you have problems watching these live? UK Gaffer here with 20Mb broadband yet I always seem to get a shitty juddery stream. So much so that despite being hyped for this, I will likely avoid GAF for an hour and watch it after it has gone out.

On my laptop the fucking flash stream is barely watchable (ustream/twitch), but ony my Wii U (or rather the Gamepad) it's much better. Probably because of how well the Wii U browser handles html5 streams.

Nah, I really set my expectations so low there's no way I can be disappointed. After hearing Iwata at that investor's meeting and his bonkers ideas, I'm increasingly less confident they have any idea what they're doing, so my expectations for these things are essentially set to bottom tier now. We already know about Donkey Kong which is not really exciting for me, and we already know about Mario Kart (and I'm so done with that series at this point), so what else can they really announce?

X is later in the year if it makes it, and Bayonetta 2 isn't going to be a Spring game... and I can't imagine given their attitude toward third parties any surprises will come from them. So what can I reasonably expect from Nintendo? Yet more games with Mario in it?

I love Nintendo, but they've been on autopilot for ages now, and they're completely aimless.

What I'm expecting from Wii U: DK:TF footage, MK 7 footage

What I'm expecting from 3DS: Professor Layton? (i never played the series, i think there is a title coming out for it soon though), Yoshi's New Island

I think there might be some smaller announcements (like VC titles) or announcements for things that won't really excite neogaf, but those 4 games are probably what will be featured for the most part.
