Am I the only one expecting Zelda U? Didn't they say it was far enough along that they almost showed it at E3? And wasn't LBW and WWHD announced in last years big January direct?

Might be a short teaser if they've really hit peak panic mode and then Iwata will say "We will reveal more information about The Legend of Zelda: Subtitle at E3. Please look forward to it".

Every direct since last E3, I've been expecting Zelda U, tbh though I don't see it happening. We might get some new info but I think they're going save the reveal for E3.

The trick is to not expect something and then it comes

Every full moon when the Nintendo direct looms the crop of Hype is collected and stored for power and sustainability.

I've never heard of Fossil Fighters, but after looking it up I want it now. It sounds pretty fun.

... on a serious note, these things never dissapointment me. I know more or less what to expect coming in. I do wish for an indie and e-shop only directs though. Iwata going through a direct announcing only indie games coming in the pipeline would be fantastic.

I never understood this perspective

It's not like they are announcing "man, we have huuge world-changing megatons, so check us out!" before the Directs are streamed - they are mostly just infomercials with some little surprises

The problem is that too many people take the hype too seriously and adjust their expectations to a NeoGAF thread instead to facts

I mean nobody enjoys hype more than me, but it's not like I'm sitting here as if Nintendo owes me something

Haha, excellent. Just to set up some accountability, I would love to see something new. Not just something we didn't know existed, but not a sequel or if it's a sequel something like Kid Icarus that may as well not be a sequel. I find the best option is to have Nintendo's website stream opened on chrome and then another window with this thread (or your website and thread of choice) in firefox. Never had any problems since I split the stuff into 2 separate browsers.
