Worldwide Directs have always revealed at least one big Nintendo game, typically for release in a matter of months. Last month we had DLC and a download game available straight after it, with another one less than two weeks later.

-We've been getting updates on x once every 6 months or so. There is reason to believe that this is the next one.

-people think there may be some info on Bayo 2 as well.

-It's not uncommon for directs to reveal 1 minor new game and a smash character, potentially even a newcomer.

-We haven't seen too much of mario kart and it is the next big game after DK so we will probably see some stuff from it.

It's a multi-region Direct, which is already a big deal, and it's the first one of 2014, and it's also 41 minutes long, which I think is a record. There's going to be something good in it.
