Well, allow me to counter with this (regarding X, specifically): Yasuyuki Honne was the first to allude to its development, and that was sometime in May of 2010. So, we can assume it began development a bit before then. By the time it's ready to release, it will have stacked about four years of development time. So barring any unforeseen delays, it's not unlikely.
