Also I think that's why we haven't got Pokemon Trainer Reveal because I'm pretty sure that they would add Pokemon Trainer Female as well. I have a weird feeling that it might based on White/Black.
It'd be cool to make each alternate color a different trainer.

Have their outfits match the color... between different voice recordings and models it'd probably be way more effort than it's worth, but it'd help squeeze in other generations and fit the characters.
And if it's bothersome to see 1st Gen starters with other trainers, you could limit it to the 1st and 6th Gen Trainers, since you obtain the Starters in all of them. Maybe toss Blue in there to bring it up to five.

I find that unlikely. Game Freak had already finalized the designs for the X/Y trainers by January 2013 (which was when they showed the first footage of those games). That's more than enough time for them to submit the designs to the Smash team for implementation. If they bother to use something besides the Gen 1 trainers, they're probably going to be from X/Y.
I'm too lazy to do it, but someone should add Squirtle (Melee trophy) and Wolf (Melee opening cinematic).

You know who should REALLY be an Assist Trophy in Smash 4? Wart! I'm kind of shocked he wasn't one in Brawl.
Now that I think on it more, it's kind of weird how thoroughly Nintendo seems to pretend he never existed and how they've never revisited him even once. I mean, I guess technically he didn't exist as far as Mario's point of view is concerned, but still! Seems like it'd be a fun, fanservicey thing to do.

In a perfect world each color for Pokemon Trainer would have a different trainer commanding the Pokemon - default/red team can be Red, blue team can be Leaf, green team can be Ruby/Sapphire/Wally, etc. It would be awesome!
You really don't need 99 other people, just nine would do. Also, Red is still a capable fighter on his own, so it would be fine if Unite Morphs were only used for smash attacks or specials.
Exactly. Also, just because W101 might not ever get a game doesn't mean he shouldn't be in the game. Miyamoto has no plans to revisit F-Zero anytime soon, and nobody wants Captain Falcon gone.

That's not really an apt comparison -- F-Zero was important when the first SSB came out. F-Zero's current status doesn't change its history. There are a handful of F-Zero games, an anime, and references in other games (Nintendo Land, et cetera).
The Wonderful 101, on the other hand, is just an obscure one-off game no more significant than Doshin the Giant, Drill Dozer, Captain Rainbow, or the dozens of other minor games without a playable Smash Bros. character.

Yeah but in Little Mac's case he was still the main character in the new entry in his series. While the role of main character in Sin and Punishment 2 and Golden Sun Dark Dawn went to Saki's and Isaac's sons, Isa and Matthew

This is true, it is a possibility they'd pick Isa and Matthew over Saki and Isaac but I imagine they'd play the same so I'm cool with it
Hopefully Male Wii Fit Trainer is a sign of what to expect.
Wonderful 101 has Platinum Games involvement at least. I'd rank the game a bit more significant those last three, only one of these even came to the states. Either way, it'd be nice to have some representation of the game.
