I passed on the regular elf. Her face always looked weird to me.
If that gets made by a good company, it's a sure buy~

Question about a EMS order on AmiAmi. Do you have to sign for the package when USPS is delivering it?

Ah ok, thankfully they deliver after I get home usually.
Signatures can be a pain, but at least you don't have to worry about a package being left on by your front door when you're not home and having it stolen. Such a thing has never happened to me [thankfully], but you never can be too safe!
Missing the delivery by a minute, though, and having to wait until the next day to pick it up can be tiring, though.

That's been my experience.
If you're not home [or no one answers], they leave a delivery notice/slip and you go the next day and pick it up. If you live near a post office, like I do, it's no trouble at all, unless it's one of those massively large combined AmiAmi orders. >_<

GSC will do it, guaranteed. They've been making Monogatari figures for years, and they've shown no signs of stopping. The series continues to sell.
So, overall she looks great. She's a good size, and the face is beautiful. But she's also overpriced. The paint quality just does not match what the best Japanese figure makes can do. Max Factory could make this same figure in pvc, and it would cost half as much, and the paint would be better. She just looks sloppy on the details. If Japan hated Junko, they would loathe this even more.
I don't regret getting her, but I definitely will not be making a habit of buying from Sideshow (or any other non-Japanese) statues again. You're paying for size and the polystone. But PVC for life.

I hate to sound like I'm against American companies, but they just don't put the care into these things that the Japanese companies do. It's why I always hesitate when I'm thinking of buying an American-made PVC.
This, for example. $40, and you can still see the black base that was put down before the hair was painted. It's repulsive. Don't even get me started on the sculpting.
Kind of want an Alter, but GSC will be good enough for me ~

Right. 99% of American stuff just is no good. I made an exception for this, and will do for any other Bruce Timm stuff that comes out after Black and White Harley Quinn. He's mostly affiliated with DC, but I'd love to see some Marvel Bruce Timm figures.

Probably largely the case these days, because I think that a lot of the Japanese game community is just out of touch with what people want to play. I mean, I still play Final Fantasy games, and they're fun for the most part, but in my mind, the last real FF game was FFX.
Whoops I meant that I still feel that the Japanese still put more time and care into their games than Americans do. Even though I enjoy American games, they still feel very manufactured to me. I rarely get the same feeling of excitement looking at a trailer for an American game the same way I would, say, Bayonetta 2.
