I'm totally unfamiliar with this comic, so I had no idea it had a zany tone; I knew about the raccoon, but a comic could give a serious take on that, too. I thought they were hiring the serious Chris Pratt. I'm glad to see his persona in another genre.

I've never really gotten into the cosmic stuff, but started reading Annihilation after seeing it mentioned on GAF so much.

I didn't know what I was missing out on. Cosmic shit is hype. Glad to see MCU give it a shot, and tie it in with the Earth stuff.

Yeah that's a good trailer. Really didn't have much interest before but definitely on my to see list ow when it comes out now. Star lord looks like a cross of Indy and Tony Stark and Raccoon is most likely going to steal the show and have best action scenes. Also liked the light hearted and funny tone of the trailer.

Ha this was nice. I really like the way they introduced the characters. This trailer definitely focused on the comedic aspect of it and that is a nice way to introduce people into the whole weird side of the cosmic Marvel universe.

From what I know there's the Blue Skin, and there are "pink skin" which basically look Caucasian.

Did the Kree have "color changing"? Remembering back to Captain Marvel on Earth, looking like a white guy, until Captain Marvel came out and he was blue.

I liked it, but then again, I'm an old comic fan who is currently sludging through annihilation.

It's a little too cheeky for its own good. Even though it's little more than an introduction to the characters it doesn't really set the stage for being anything more than Firefly with aliens, which is awesome but niche.
