Exactly, we still need to have pokeballs too for that last resort plan to even work. Hopefully it never comes to that. Of course I dont think you can release a pokemon that has surf. Pretty sure it wont allow you.

Lapras is gotten at level 15, so it is unusable in battle.

Snorlax is gotten at level 30 which is a much better level and it can learn Surf and Strength as well.

Problem is we have to catch it. Snorlax is always hard to get.

I would prefer that we get him.

The stream's gonna have to grind out some serious levels sooner or later. The game spends a long time throwing 20-something stuff at you, but once you start approaching the end it spikes to the 40s pretty fast, and then the E4 represents another major jump out of nowhere.
