Groaaan. A LOT of time on her in the next Avengers film? She seems like a really dull character to me. Want the focus to be on the main Avengers themselves, especially newcomers Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch.

Who are the main Avengers? Also I am pretty sure Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch along with Vision are going to spend most of the movie as villains, not unlike Hawkeye in Avengers.

Why does that matter? Fucking Hellboy had a movie before Wonder Woman. Female action movies are a hard sell.

Sorry, I find the Avengers look so much hotter than her IM2 look...mostly because it's a much stronger presence. The flousy curls in IM2 just came off as 'model pretending to be action girl' rather than 'dangerous assassin'. Same person, giving the same threatening look, only one isn't threatening at all.

Beyond looking entirely inappropriate for a spy who engages in heavy action, nothing about that style suggests the edge that Black Widow carries.
How about Mr. & Mrs. Smith instead?

I think the idea would be great. Weve got various outlines and ideas of where to take that. As Scarlett already said, theres a big element that explores her back story in an upcoming Marvel feature, Feige said of course referring to Avengers: Age of Ultron, which Johansson has said she has a vital role.

Look on the bright side ... if they actually decide to give her a damn character outside of sexy looking stone faced spy maybe Scar can do something interesting with it. Already seems to have more personally in Cap 2 than anything before from the trailers.
If they give her a movie she wont end up being dull ... Marvel knows better than to make a boring protag carry a film.
Wouldn't be too shocked if they turned her into Cap Marvel just to circumvent the problem of diving into a Solo Female hero movie "blind". Might sound like a bad idea but the current "Cap Marvel" isn't terribly interesting as a character and I don't see them having the balls to make Monica Rambeau take the spot light ...
Uhhh, QT being awesome surely doesn't make his successes in making a popular and successful female/ black male action movie any less "proof of concept" when talking about movies being successful with females or other groups.

I wouldn't mind Katee Sackhoff or Yvonne Strahovski for Captain Marvel.

For real though, BW is in no way a more interesting character than Carol Danvers... how on earth.

Anyway put Joss Whedon in charge and he can make a Black Widow film work. But I agree she's boring, but I'd say that's true for basically all the Avengers characters except Downey Jr., CGI Hulk, and Loki.
If Marvel owns the Punisher then we can take a look at the movie below. Even though it's probably crap like most of Marvel's animations...it could be interesting to see what it's like to have more Black Widow:
