Dug up my old GBA started playing FireRed again

even got my light out.

I had that exact one. Playing was hard over long periods of time, especially in low light. Having no backlight was a real pain in the ass. Never again.

Has anyone else since this started decided to start playing a Pokemon game again? I've just started a fire red run through on my iPhone, after someone showed me the online app which is fantastic.

This is such a great marketing tool for Nintendo, I was even considering buying a 2DS and getting either x or y for it and I'm just one person, there's been over 100k viewers at some points.

The only one I ever played was Yellow, but this has done a great job at making me want to play one. Unfortunately, I don't have a portable.

As for "horrible for the eyes", I'd guess you're right. Still, I remember playing Advance Wars on GBA classic during the night, in a travelling car, just using the scare lights from the sides of the road. So I've tried the worse situation... (Classic GBA is still the most readable one in direct sunlight, too)

That make me think that I'd REALLY like a DS/3DS player for Wii U.

Like the GBPlayer on GC or the SuperGameBoy on SNES.

Well if you do decide to do it, they have a promotion starting in March. Register a 2DS or 3DSXL in March and one of 6 games and get a free copy of Pokémon X or Y.

I think the idea is to make space for Zapdos without touching the PC. We only have 3 choices of who to get rid of: Pidgeot, Venomoth, and Drowzee. Obviously Pidgeot is a no-go, and we're still trying to grind Drowzee for psychic. So the only real option is Venomoth, who isn't going to be useful going forward anyway.

Yeah, but Venomoth can learn some pretty useful Psychic moves too!

Oddish, on the other hand, can learn Solarbeam, but besides that, I don't know what we're gonna do with him.
