Well Jennifer was pretty much killed by Peter at the end of 3A so I wouldn't expect her unless they pull off some bullshit. Deucalion is still around though and then we don't know much about that old lady speaking spanish that was torturing Derek and Peter so I'd expect one of those 2(or both) unless the beacon starts bringing new supernatural enemies.

I read or watched some interview where Dylan implied that Stiles's struggle with the dark kitsune thingie would last all season. I can't remember the source. But he said something about how
either Stiles or the kitsune would have to die, and that interesting stuff would happen in the finale. Or something. Kind of reminded me of the whole thing where (HARRY POTTER SPOILERS, if anyone still cares)
Harry Potter had to "die" in order to kill a piece of Voldemort. Also reminded me of Jackson's Kanima situation in season 2.
 
I feel for the poor soul that would still have to worry about Harry Potter spoilers in 2014

Did we... miss an episode or something? Why do I feel there is a huge disconnect between the end of last week and the beginning of this one?

Holy shit @ that preview. That was.... Goddamn. That was intense.

And wow, what a great episode. So, wow, Stiles and Malia. That happened. That was... Weird, right? But hey at least Stiles finally got lucky.

And man, that asylum was freaky. Bad vibes. Oliver was suitably endearing and then creepy. Wonder what the phone girl was talking about.

And hey, the Spanish hunter came back so at least that plot line wasn't dropped like a bad habit. All the streams are crossing.

Man, the previews all but told exactly how the Nogitsune came about. Speculation:

The asylum was an internment camp, tons died, maybe experimented on, the burned man became a nogitsune before being sealed in the wall.

Lydia did fuck all in that bank heist. And looked damn fine doing so.
 
Please god, don't let Malia be another one in the long line of Erica replacements that get shuffled off the show because some other show came along.
 
So Kira went from Kung Fu Master to piggy back extraordinaire.
Really liked the episode, interested to see what the body is in the basement considering I was expecting the origins of the Nigitsune to be Japanese

The previews have my hyped as fuck. How many episodes do we have left? 4? 5?

Why exactly did Erica leave the show? Also anyone get the vibe at the ending that Malia was taught to control her transformation by Stiles and is now working with him?

That was kind of weird. She just jumped down, grabbed him, and froze, "Hey, I got your back."

I did enjoy the twins being useful in trying to be packly. I do wish Scott was a little stronger, though. I wonder what's holding him back.

It is. Bandage Stiles was speaking Japanese a couple of weeks ago and basement boy had a sword with a Japanese hilt on his back. The internment camps were also mentioned recently by Kira's dad, who translated the radio message.

I kinda wish this episode was stretched into two. So we could get a better look at the insanity of the asylum, its inmates, and the abuse of the guards/wardens/orderlies. I wanted to see the Psycho ward, and more of Stiles trying not to go insane.

Ok, btw, Stiles and Malia having sex, that's... weird, right? Cause she was like eight, trapped in the body of a coyote for almost a decade before waking up again as a human.

Is she still mentally an eight year old in the body of a 17 year old? Man, there are some weird questions going down this line of questioning.

I don't think Stiles is out of the Asylum, only Malia. The nagitsune feeds of chaos and what better place for that than an asylum? I'm sure he'll exploit it somehow.
although I could be completely wrong. The five episode preview has me all confused

8 is like 56 in coyote years. She took advantage of him. Hell, who knows what she came across in the woods regarding escaped pit bulls. She may even have some puppies running around... and who knows what they shift into.

I don't know why people are having problems with the Malia thing. It's not she was acting like an eight year old nor was she some how in a mental coma for all those years.
