and really did just give the sword and warning to Scott. I wanted to see that meeting. That was a nice moment between the Sheriff and Allison,
YES! This right here! This was the highlight scene for me in this episode Allison breaking down and confessing that she is afraid and doesn't know what to do was such a good moment for her character and it was with someone who she rarely has any interaction with.

It really just drives home that Allison is really just a kid and even though she has these bad ass moments where she fires arrows and werewolves and Kanima's at the end of the day behind all that confidence she's scared shitless.

Man, I'd be scared shitless too.

THE RECAPPER IS SICK NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

But he wants the viewers to recap this week:

HI GUYS.
Bad news and I'm very sorry, but it turns out that hexes are real and now my body is turning inside out. In other words I am sick, I was sick all night, I invented something called the cry-puke, and I was not able to recover enough to finish this photo recap. Again, I'm so sorry.

The main thing I am sorry about, though, is that "The Fox and the Wolf" was very, VERY GOOD and it's begging to be talked about. Just a devastating hour of television that was, well, sort of astounding to me. Astounding in the sense that a teen supernatural horror dramedy is one of the few pieces of pop culture in decades to address a subject as important and desperately in need of awareness as the Japanese-American internment camps during WWII. And not only address it but do it WELL. Thoughtful, artfully filmed, appropriately horrifying, and still relatable to young people. I just don't think it can be overstated what an achievement this episode (and in a larger sense this season) is. Sorry for getting real on you, but so did Teen Wolf, and I loved every second of it. Do I think actual werewolves were involved in the Japanese-American internment camps? Probably not. But emotionally Teen Wolf nailed it in a way I would have never expected.

Here are some bullet points from "The Fox and the Wolf" worth discussing:
... Kira's mother is officially amazing now. We're talking Mrs. Argent levels of perfection.
... That elevator scene with Allison and Sheriff Stilinski. What other show would take the time to check in on its characters' emotional states with such empathy? So real and so understated and so moving.
... Soldiers are handsome.
... Did you frown very hard when the "Isaac" chess piece was just lying on the table beside the chess board?
... Does or does not the Nogitsune love to murder? It seemed like he killed A LOT of people back in the day but then the modern day gang seemed confident that he was simply a prankster. Which is it?
... Did Kira's mom look like a teenager for 840 years and then suddenly grow up? Do you think that will be addressed? Will Kira also be immortal? I'm obsessed with this family now.

ANYWAY HEY. I could use your help! Before my body was transformed into my arch-nemesis, I was just about to start the captioning phase of the recap, which means I now have 70-something images in need of words. PLEASE CAPTION THEM! You guys are funnier and smarter than I am, so if you want, please right-click and "copy image URL" or save these images to your desktop to paste/re-upload them as comments below (once you paste an image URL or upload an image, the caption field will let you write on it). Or caption them however else you'd like, I'm not the boss of you. But I'd love to see what you come up with! (Assuming I survive the day.)

Once again, sorry if I let anybody down. I hope to be back in the saddle soon. (I don't own a saddle, that was a metaphor, I currently have a restraining order against all horses.) Talk to you soon, and please have fun:

Yeah, every time a Scott picture popped up I think I guessed Jackson.

I got 11/13 and this is what got me. Two of the Scott pictures from Season 1-2 I thought were Jackson.

Too easy though - Derek's arm hair makes it easy to guess when it's him.

Watched the last five episodes this weekend. They are hitting it out of the park this season. Have loved most everything. I've even cried. I am going to be pissed by the end, I just know it. I don't want to see anyone go!

Got to give high marks to the witty writing too,

Lord everyone went super Dark tonight.

I'm so here for Kira/Scott scenes all the time. Also yay for random gay sex because that's all Danny is good for in this show it seems.

The ending was crazy tho lord.

Sad but true after 4 fucking seasons he still hasn't been clued into the supernatural even though he's been banging a werewolf for the past two seasons! For god sake Jeff just develop his character already.

Yeah, I've been pretty disappointed how little screen time Danny has gotten this season. Jeff made it sound like Danny would finally get included with the supernatural stuff, but he's still just making random brief appearances. (We could of at least actually gotten to see the shower, dammit.)

Jeff has got 2 episodes to make good on his claims.

I feel like he will just be clued in next season. I really want him to become part of the pack and bring his own talents in.

A great episode
Quite surprised everyone came out unscathed tbh

And now that Stiles and the nigitsune have become separated, I wonder if the nigitsune will get stronger without Stiles' limitations

Danny gets killed by the Nogitsune. Technically, it's "being included in supernatural stuff".

Whoops, too late! I guess they'd spent too much time at school listening to Kira's mom tell them all the stories. Or maybe Scott was just a super slow motorcycle driver because in the time it took them to rush to Derek's, Kira's mom was already at Eichen House snooping around in the basement.

OMG, I'm dying!

Edit: Finished. Best recap this season, and that says a lot because they are all amazing!

Yeah I was just wondering why I haven't seen this thread today lol. Anyway tonight was the best episode the show had in a while. Dark Stiles was awesome yet again. Lydia was great too.

I was at work. :(

Anyway, I'm pretty sure this episode was a experiment on how to cause the maximum amount of heart attacks possible for TW fans.

So was I.

Also, WHAT THE HELL.
Well good to see that you guys still watched it. When's the season finale?

I didn't get a chance to watch it until tonight. Fantastic episode. Dark Stiles is amazing. Major props for Dylan. He's been killing it all season.

Khylin Rhambo Of ‘Ender’s Game’ And Mason Dye To Play Two New ‘Teen Wolf’ Lacrosse Stars
Our “Teen Wolf” mainstays have their plates full lately venturing into Stiles‘ subconscious and fending off dark, mythical creatures, but they better sort that stuff out quickly, because once they return to Beacon Hills High School (or, if, we suppose…), two new students will be ready to pounce on the lacrosse team’s starting spots. Khylin Rhambo of ”Ender’s Game” and Mason Dye of Lifetime’s recent “Flowers in the Attic” adaptation will join Season 4, according to E! online.

Rhambo will take on the role of a funny, gay freshman named Mason, the site says, and Dye will play a teammate named Garrett. “Man of Steel” star Dylan Sprayberry, who will also join the tight-knit crew next season as a definitively cocky jock, was quick to congratulate his fellow cast members on the announcement. “Can’t wait to start filming with my bros! @MasonDye_ and @KhyRhambo on @MTVteenwolf! It’s about to go down!” he tweeted. Man, the BHHS vets better watch their backs — these guys are already tight.

What are the odds Rhambo will end up being Danny's new love interest?

That's assuming he's not replacing Danny after he's killed by Dark Stiles.
