This bundle is Gamestop doing their own thing, so yes.
That explains it. Thanks for the confirmation.

Help me gaf. I'm not sure what to get out of the three.
FFX remastered - MGS V:GZ - or inFAMOUS: SS.
Only able to pick up two around that time.
I'm looking for suggestions! Any plays on superhero slogans or puns involving smoke/fire or neon/light would be great.

Wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute. So there really is no continuous time of day change? It'll just be stuck on certain times like Saints Row 3, until you do a mission or something else changes it? Most of my time in these games is spent running around doing side stuff, and watching the sky go from morning to night is so cool and has been since I played GTA III.
I'm not going to not get the game, that would be crazy, but this is still a giant bummer for me.

Yeah I always put that down to technical limitations though, aside from Festival of Blood where it made sense. I figured on a next gen system they could swing it.Same as all the other inFamous games.
Sometime story missions change the time a day to set the tone.

https://twitter.com/artenvelope/status/438486990598991872@JCriCreate but I spend a lot of time trying to make TODs feel dynamic and have movement in clouds.. But largely are tied with narrative
Hmm.
I'd be totally ok with time speeding up when I got to a mission. That wouldn't bother me at all.If they went with a proper day/night cycle then you'd have to wait for time to pass to do day or night exclusive missions.
For example in the recent demo they had you and Fetch light up the bay area at night.
Would you want to do nothing until the sun goes down or would you want the game to suddenly switch from day to night? The former would be a little annoying since there is no rest/time-skip system and the latter could break your immersion.

If those quick time of day changes happen during free roam I'd be ok with that, but I'm guessing they won't.I'm pretty I've seen some tech videos where they show the time of day change in real-time (in a quickened manner), so it's probably more of an artistic choice on their behalf than something they couldn't achieve. They want certain missions to happen at night and there's no way around that.
Oh wow, so it's the same as the first two games? I thought they would change it to show their lighting deal.Wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute. No it's prefect. It's very comic book like. I like it.They could just have a card saying "LATER THAT DAY" or "THE NEXT MORNING" and I would be fine with it.
EDIT: Sorry, wrong thread.
Now the lay-offs begin?

GTAV did it well.
Haven't played it. How'd they do it in GTAV?
Is it me or is Sony not [edited, sorry] doing much marketing for this game? I saw a new gameplay spot a few days ago but nothing out of the ordinary (like say, Uncharted 3/The Last of Us marketing).
Is this coming in a few weeks now?

One month is the regular time from gold to retailer. Titanfall is the anomaly. What sucks is it went Gold BEFORE Titanfall, yet it comes out after.
Which basically means they are just holding up the release date for no reason.
Why not move the release date up?
Marketing is the main reason. They may also have a big day 1 patch to work on.What sucks is it went Gold BEFORE Titanfall, yet it comes out after.

Yeah or stand on top of the space needle and watch the sun slowly rise.I'm bummed that there isn't a day/night cycle too.
I want to traverse through Seattle and see the sun set as I do so.
It just fast-forwards to a particular time when you start the mission. Isn't that how the other Infamous titles worked?

I am pretty sure it does not work that way. What sucks is it went Gold BEFORE Titanfall, yet it comes out after.

I hear ya...kinda debating picking up Killzone but it' got middling reviews so I've been holding out for Infamous.
Redbox Killzone. It's pretty but annoying; gave up after 2 hours in SP.

Because all games, even games I love, have flaws.I love open world games that take advantage of a natural time cycle; big appeal to me and kept me away from Saints Row 4. If it is a giant bummer what is making you buy this?
Because all games, even games I love, have flaws.
Actually I said 'giant bummer,' not 'major bummer.' That said...What makes you avoid a game then? If a game has something that you described as a "major bummer" I would be less interested in spending my money on it.
'Major bummer' = very disappointing thing about a game that I still want to play anyway
For example in GTAV I think it sucks that each character's garage is halfway across the map from their homes (especially Trevors, WTF). It's dumb and it gets in the way of me having fun with the game, but I still play the game and loved it for the most part. I would classify that as a 'major bummer.'
On the flip side I am not buying Titanfall because of the lack of single player or offline bots or anything that isn't online competitive MP. That's more than a 'major bummer', it's a deal breaker.
Damn, you didn't even get to the bad parts.
