Most likely it will be neglected while Totodile absorb the majority of the EXP. What happened in Gen 1 was a very odd circumstance of Pidgeot somehow getting ahead of the rest of the party, and once Charmeleon was released, there was no one else to turn to.

Yup, the Gen I method of placing everything into one list was a godsend for this type of run. Now, one troll left or right fucks it all up.

It was mostly because we gimped Charmeleon with a shitty moveset so Pidgeot was the one killing everything.

Yes, people are way too gung-ho about memes in this run. Nature needs to run its course.

Looks like none of our Pokemon are ever going to learn any TMs or HMs then. Adventure over before it even started.

The Coin Case is still broken in Crystal, right? It's going to suck when they accidentally reset the game using it because they listened to the wrong Pokémon cry.

From a gameplay perspective, geodude is quiet possibly the best early-game pokemon to get. Aside from sprout tower, he sweeps Falkner, Bugsy, Whitney, has super effective ground moves on the all physical, status, and night shade Morty, and can sweep most of Jasmine and maybe her Steelix,

Spearow and Doduo are just better in general

Well it took 9 hours from start to the Boulder badge, so there was some trouble I think. Probably not quite this bad at the start, though.

By the time I started watching (just after Mt. Moon) we had less then 3k people... I imagine route 1 was a breeze back then.
