Order 1886 and Infamous look better, as does Quantum Break.
Better than Witcher 3? No way.

Watch in HD.

Not sure why th Op didn't post the link, but i guess he has reasons.

Just downloaded both the standard and HD versions. One things for certain...

He did have his reasons for that lil clip.....All I will say is the HD clip looks better. Maybe that one part thats highlighted in the gif looks bad...but overall.....game looks nice. Forgot to add...yea.....seems what we saw at the reveal is not whats in the clips floating around...

Okay, I'll be fair to the game. I feel kinda responsible for starting this as I was the first to post a screenshot of the car. This is how the footage looks a few seconds earlier.

This section is pretty much on par with what they showed off last year (the car section). Just when they reach that bridge section and the spotlight where things take a turn for the worst.

Note: btw, this doesn't mean that I'm saying the game looks on par with the reveal.

Exactly what I suspected. You have to carefully read these types of threads, really dig into them, to find out the truth. Unfortunately, it's a lot easier to post a reactionary cat gif. Sadly for Ubi, the damage has been done -- the game is now officially N64-tier around here.

I don't understand the hate for Ubisoft. Besides Assassin's Creed 3, their recent output is very solid. Far Cry 3? Very good. Blood Dragon? Come on Gaf, you were all over it. Black Flag? It's great. Rayman Legend? Great too. Soon we'll get some anticipated titles like Child of Light or Valiant Hearts.

I don't understand Gaf. Now you're hating on a gif?... Tssssh that's a new low.

We're talking about Ubisoft...That's why I never got hyped for this game after being fooled by them in the past.

I'm just hoping The Division still looks good when it comes out, but I trust that developer since they made my favorite action RTS and are great with tech.

OK, so... am I supposed to be impressed by that? By the technical prowess in displaying that many blades of grass, maybe? It doesn't look bad, obviously, but there's just nothing about it that wows me. Not my taste in eye candy I guess. Whereas 2012 and 2013 W_D footage got my motor running.

GFX aside: preorder
NOT
cancelled. I still like the game's story and idea. I can still play few of these "last gen ports", but Satan forbid if games like Arkham Knight and other "true" current gen games are going to look like shitty PS3 ports.

Hey Ubi! There's no excuse for this. If you built the game for PC, you should be running it prettier than this on PS4. Even ACIV looks better!

ubisoft. every fucking time. now I'm not interested in it at all, they've been dangling it in front of me for too damn long a time anyway.

Watching the video in HD doesn't make it look like the e3 reveal. It only makes it look less blurry. It looks bad period. The lighting is a complete downgrade, the cloth physics look poor, the reflections are all gone, the art direction is poor. Downgrade complete.

According to the other guy, the gif is at 30fps locked. It looks smooth enough to me and I usually can't stand 30fps. Either the browser is fucked or it's pretty good!

Just count how long the gif lasts. If it's lasting near 5 or 6 seconds. Your browser is playing it at double speed. If it's lasting around 10-11 seconds. Then it's playing at 30fps.

This has to be oldgen vs what we know was highend PC.

The latest trailer showcased much better graphics than this shitty oldgen version.

And to me seems the game looks better at night, dusk vs full day time.

I would also recommend, like others are, for ppl to look at the HD version(s) of the clips. But yea....this is one of those times gameplay will hopefully carry the game more than the graphics.

Still interested in getting it for the premise. And I might be mistaken....but that bad looking gif with the car jumping, looks like the bridge can be hacked to raise. Could be wrong...but thats the type of game play I wanna see in the actual game.

sure, why not? a slight breeze is bringing the whole scene to life. distant objects are pleasantly hazy. ash and smoke from the chimney and pollen from the grass drift through the air.

watch_dogs when first unveiled was full of such touches. now they all seem to be gone, taking with them a lot of the atmosphere that made the game so impressive in the first place.

You are clearly drunk.

The Witcher 3 is the new Crysis. It will melt down every PC.

Perhaps you are right but the difference is that The Witcher 3 will (I hope) look like in the trailers.

I want to know how much money Ubisoft has spent on these fake trailers.

Edit: The Witcher 3 will never look so good on PS4/X1.

I can understand people being upset that the graphics aren't as good as the E3 reveal (that was running on a high end PC and probably specifically designed as demo to show off a new IP).

What I can't understand is the people on here comparing it to Playstation 1 and N64 level graphics.

They are either trolling or massively retarded.

Even the higher bitrate gamersyde video isn't much help:

Those don't really look 1080P...

Or..and follow me here...perhaps they're using that kooky new literary device called hyperbole that's all the rage with the kids today.

Yes. It's better to delay it again, than have it become a massive financial flop! Ask Aliens Colonial Marines.

Delaying a game made by that many people (Ubi uses those mega teams) costs a shit ton of money.

At some point they're gonna say "good enough" and this appears to be that point. I hope these clips and screencaps aren't representative of the final product, because wow if they are.

Someone, give them the expansion pak at least.

No, I was saying all those, W3 included look more impressive than WD ever did at any point. As for W3 it looks incredible. I think in terms of micro-scale the Order definitely has advantages (better character models, more 'cg like' visuals). But W3 is a massive open world and looks flat out incredible.

The new WD vids even at the Italian site looks downgraded. There is very little post processing going on. Basically, it seems look like an current gen port, which is what it is. No better than ACIV at all.

You can never be sure when GAF is on a warpath, just brings out the stupid in some people. I imagine a few of them have actually convinced themselves what they are saying is true.

I know it's a tough call...but I know peeps are seriously gonna cancel their pre orders over this.

To me the only issue I'm seeing here is what looks like a lighting glitch that causes an entire texture to get illuminated when the helicopter spotlight is on it instead of just a small patch. Which explains why the whole bridge is glowing white when the car drives on and over it.

The other parts that aren't in the gif look fine to me. Not initial reveal quality but still decent. I'm chalking this up as another cross gen casualty.

Looks close enough. I can't help but think that the appeal of the original trailer came down to them showcasing a very specific time of day with lighting and atmospheric conditions designed to highlight certain effects.

the flash represents the ability to hack it. Its not a glitch
