Ah. Lucky for me I'm one of those freaks who is perfectly OK with 30fps.
Better than Witcher 3? No way.Order 1886 and Infamous look better, as does Quantum Break.
Damn that downgrade!
But it seems they don't give a damn:

I'm start believing that the 2012 reveal was all a big CGI with a HUD on it.[/QUOTE]
That's because it likely was....

Watch in HD.
Not sure why th Op didn't post the link, but i guess he has reasons.

Judge for yourself, watch in HD
Just downloaded both the standard and HD versions. One things for certain...
He did have his reasons for that lil clip.....All I will say is the HD clip looks better. Maybe that one part thats highlighted in the gif looks bad...but overall.....game looks nice. Forgot to add...yea.....seems what we saw at the reveal is not whats in the clips floating around...
Okay, I'll be fair to the game. I feel kinda responsible for starting this as I was the first to post a screenshot of the car. This is how the footage looks a few seconds earlier.

This section is pretty much on par with what they showed off last year (the car section). Just when they reach that bridge section and the spotlight where things take a turn for the worst.
Note: btw, this doesn't mean that I'm saying the game looks on par with the reveal.
It was all realtime on a highend rig. They just didn't have the budget to make such assets for the whole game. That's because it likely was....
Better than Witcher 3? No way.

1:06 in that video when two of the same guy are onscreen
so its dead rising quality
Please tell me this is ps3/xbox360 vs current gen?

Seriously getting an N64 game vibe.
Exactly what I suspected. You have to carefully read these types of threads, really dig into them, to find out the truth. Unfortunately, it's a lot easier to post a reactionary cat gif. Sadly for Ubi, the damage has been done -- the game is now officially N64-tier around here.

OK, so... am I supposed to be impressed by that?
Hum, yes, you do, unless you are freaking delusional.OK, so... am I supposed to be impressed by that?.
According to the other guy, the gif is at 30fps locked. It looks smooth enough to me and I usually can't stand 30fps. Either the browser is fucked or it's pretty good!
OK, so... am I supposed to be impressed by that? By the technical prowess in displaying that many blades of grass, maybe? It doesn't look bad, obviously, but there's just nothing about it that wows me. Not my taste in eye candy I guess. Whereas 2012 and 2013 W_D footage got my motor running.
You are clearly drunk.OK, so... am I supposed to be impressed by that? By the technical prowess in displaying that many blades of grass, maybe? In an Ubisoft game? For real? But yea....this is one of those times gameplay will hopefully carry the game more than the graphics.

Yes. It's better to delay it again, than have it become a massive financial flop! Ask Aliens Colonial Marines. And what, delay it for another 6 months?
Better than Witcher 3? No way.

I can understand people being upset that the graphics aren't as good as the E3 reveal (that was running on a high end PC and probably specifically designed as demo to show off a new IP).
What I can't understand is the people on here comparing it to Playstation 1 and N64 level graphics.
They are either trolling or massively retarded.

21:11 I think. This gif makes me wanna buy a 21:9 monitorWhat's with the aspect ratio of this gif?

Or..and follow me here...perhaps they're using that kooky new literary device called hyperbole that's all the rage with the kids today.
Delaying a game made by that many people (Ubi uses those mega teams) costs a shit ton of money.
At some point they're gonna say "good enough" and this appears to be that point. I hope these clips and screencaps aren't representative of the final product, because wow if they are.
Hum, yes, you do, unless you are freaking delusional.

To me the only issue I'm seeing here is what looks like a lighting glitch that causes an entire texture to get illuminated when the helicopter spotlight is on it instead of just a small patch. Which explains why the whole bridge is glowing white when the car drives on and over it.
The other parts that aren't in the gif look fine to me. Not initial reveal quality but still decent. I'm chalking this up as another cross gen casualty.
