It isn't. It's just a boring PS4 hipster in seattle game simulator. Graphics might have made the game worth it, but without shadows it's got nothing. I mean, he's got smoke powers and you can't even smoke a bowl. It's so backwards, why even bother?

edit: oh and that gameplay earlier...I had to quit after two minutes! THE GAME LOOKS SO GREAT. I loved how the setting was night, it was raining and looking at the car's headlights as they reflect off of the road, oh god, this is so next gen!! : D

Man, I want to be excited to play this game. I mean the graphics look good, but every gameplay video seems to boil down to running around like an idiot while getting shot at from every direction by soldiers. I slogged through the 1st game and played 10 min of the second. While I noticed immediately it played smoother, I just had no desire to continue. I need a new game for PS4 but I don't know if infamous is the series for me, on the fence atm.

you played 10 mins of the better game. infamous games get better over the course of the game time. that's like playing a game with a lot of upgrades and enemy types during its first 10 mins.

What is the problem? The light falls from a different direction in two shots, the shadow on the second one is in front of Delson where the T for Teen logo is. It's very very easy to see.
And to think people start talking about graphics degradation. The IGN video shows amazing graphics, I don't doubt the quality at all, you should see the lighting when the neon is drained from the environment, pure visual orgasm.
