The creative director is in denial about the graphics. Press say it's good. OK. Don't worry basically despite the trailer being poor.
 
Shit, no wonder people in the industry swear off social media sometimes. People here hang on their every word like the gospel, and act like they say they eat babies and fuck hot pockets.
 
Ubi, you need to tighten up the graphics on level 3.

And 1,2,4,5,6,7, and the other ones too.

Aim for something like this

No, man, no. That was the WRONG answer. You do NOT shake off a question and not go into details about what happened. Never ever ever ever ever.

This is simply a PR meet for Ubisoft to promote the game. Not that I'm surprised, but...
 
I'm surprised that trailer passed QA if the game looks considerably more impressive. Perhaps they need to hire better peeps to work on their promo trailers. For example, DICE may have a dropped the ball with BF4, but they have some brilliant guys doing their Battlefield trailers.
 
The stream is sad.

I don't expect them to sit there and graciously take the shit being thrown at them by anonymous assholes over the internet, but at least do a real, live Q&A session.

That suggests something happened. If they're saying that there has been no downgrade, then nothing has happened, so what are they supposed to say?

Yep. Or take a look at the recent Alien: Isolation trailer. That was one was great.

Then again, wonky footage is wonky footage.

Yep, like I said, they could shut up everyone if they would just show the same mission from the reveal trailer.

Was this event scheduled in after the reactions? Because if it was, this isn't really putting out fires, it's starting new ones by admitting how nervous Ubi is about the shift in perception by a few negative reactions.

If we don't get some footage this is going just to intensify the doubts.
