I wouldn't have a problem with this if it were last year when I wasn't as busy, but now.....uhhh I don't know how many nights I'll stay up to see the PotD.

I used to do that for Smash Dojo but I can't do it for Daily Image feature due to many reasons. To be honest, hardcore fan inside me really made me wanting to stay up just for mostly game release reveals, however I can't. Good thing is that I can catch up and discuss with y'all in the morning.

Why would Sakurai hide his nature in that case? It'd just create negative hype in the end. He hasn't played around with any ATs and has straight out said that they aren't playable. It'd be stupid to make an exception there. Building up hype for something only makes sense if it's for positive news, negative news seem to have been delivered immediately for the most part (For example, back in Brawl, we learned immediately that Wario's was the only alternate costume, as soon as it was revealed, to avoid building expectations for something that didn't exist, and, see also the treatment of the actual ATs here).

The model is too good for it to be an AT. Also, if it was an AT Sakurai more than likely would have said so - he very rarely is deliberately misleading when it comes to giving news, and he would have known that most people would assume that HFT was an alternate costume when he posted that image.

Maybe He Fit Trainer is an Adventure Mode boss and we're hyping ourselves over nothing.
The new story mode uses a Kirby-like system of areas, and Genderswap Jungle is a late-game hub. You have to fight bosses like Master Chief Male Samus, He Fit Trainer, Ms. Pac Man, Female Villager, Female Pokemon Trainer, Male Rosalina & Crossfit Luma, Female Wario, Female Link, and Frieza Female Mewtwo.

Alright, so the comment tis week about Lil Mac's KO being the strongest in the game and DeDeDe's Rocket Hammer not quite being as strong, it got me thinking. If Sakurai hired you to help him rank the following B-moves in terms of power how would you order them (strongest to Least strongest)
- Little Mac's KO Punch (this will most likely default as everyone's number one strongest as Sakurai basically said it was)
- DeDeDe's Rocket Hammer (fully charged)
- Ganondorf's Warlock Punch
- Captain Falcon's Falcon Punch
- Ike's Eruption (fully charged)
- Jigglypuff's Rest
- Donkey Kong's wind up punch (fully charged)
- Samus charge shot (fully charged)
- Marth's shield breaker (fully charged)
And any other's I am forgetting that have significantly powerful B moves? (Very interested to see everyone's opinions on power rankings!)

Speaking of him, I find it odd that Pink and Rock Pikmin haven't been shown. I wonder if there is a possibility of another Pikmin character or he will reveal those two types later.
But I feel that Rock Pikmin would basically be Purple Pikmin while Pink Pikmin just fly and would be a bit odd with Olimar's Brawl moveset.

I suspected that we might get Alph as secret character because of Nintendo of America's Twitter. They said Alph got announced for Smash Bros 3DS and Wii U; backtracked and deleted the twitter. They released Olimar twitter later on.

I think a new pikmin character would be pretty neat, what would you change up with his moveset though other than the pink pikmin being used as a new recovery?

I kinda hope we don't get Alph. He's boring conceptually. We know he's going to pretty much be Olimar with different Pikmin types. Rock Pikmin will be heavier and do more damage when thrown. The winged Pikmin will help him fly. It's very limiting.
I mean, I guess they could overhaul his base moveset, but chances of that are slim.
EDIT: Actually, can someone try to come up with an interesting moveset for Alph, Charlie, or Brittany? That would be neat to see what ideas someone could come up with since the source material has so much "constraints".
