Infamous Second Son has gone gold

Apparently Sony us gonna really push advertising on this game, it's no wonder since there's not much else on the horizon at retail after this until watch dogs, at the moment anyway.

Can I get a beanie too?

In the UK I've seen the PS4 Thief/Destiny/Infamous (detailing the games, not montages) tons of times!

And I've not seen one Titanfall advert. It's quite the turnaround from last generation.

Really looking forward to SS. Been a fan of the series since the first. I wish Sony would up their marketing game though, any game published by them seems to almost be ignored here in the UK. Not sure if the story is different across the shores?

Are you guys going digital or physical with second son?

I've been contemplating this for the past week and I still don't know. I love the convenience of the digital model and have been used to Steam for the past couple years, but a small part of me wants to stay physical for the PS4.

I got both Digital and the CE edition =p

Love it! Any chance of Vault Boy grabbing one? Would appreciate it :)

Physical 'till the day I die. Or for as long as they let me lend games to my friends.

I did digital. I'm over discs. They are a minor annoyance these days. The immediacy of games on Steam/iPhone/Vita/PS+ games on PS4 has completely spoiled me.

I'm going digital, my OCD kicks in when a game gets scratched so I just avoid them whenever I can.

I own 21 ps4 games, 1 is on disc and that is knack.

I need the reviews. Don't punish people on the fence because some fans don't have the will power to avoid spoilers. Eventually you have to anyway.

Don't buy it on Day One. There will be plenty of streams to watch come release.

In general, I don't really pay attention to reviews until after I have already played the game. I'll occasionally check to see if a game has a ton of really negative reviews as that could be a sign of a really buggy or simply unfun game.

Retail CE. The only time I really go digital is when there are awesome sales on Steam or PSN. I prefer having discs.

With that said, my PSN, Vita, and Steam libraries are huge. Didn't realize I owned so many digital games! But Plus and Humble Bundles have me racking up titles.

I'm looking forward to playing SS through remote play, oddly enough. Sometimes, when I'm feeling really lazy on a Saturday morning, i'll play some ACIV on my Vita in bed, as our TV is in the living room. Remote Play is a feature I never gave two shits about, but it's really cool, actually.

I've been doing the exact same thing. I love this feature and SS seems to be a perfect game for it.

With Playgo, preloading is not really necessary on PS4 (and same thing with the Playgo equivalent on XB1).

PlayGo works best with retail disc from my experience. For digital downloads you still need to download a significant amount before you are able to play.

KZ:SF needs to download ~7/42GB if you select to download SP first, ~13/42GB if you select MP first.

BF4 needs to download ~7/38GB before you can play the campaign, everything needs to be downloaded in order to play the MP.

I worry for the infamous scores. If titan fall is as hyped as it is and managing 8-9 than infamous will hit 6-7s. I hope I am wrong because low scores would suck for sony. They do not need another killzone and knack.

I don't expect it to do worse than Infamous 1 and 2.

Both inFAMOUS 1 & 2 did fine (85,83), something unexpected have to happen for it to score much lower than those.
