Lets talk about Daylight Savings time.

It's basically a question of: since the sun's coming up sooner, how'd you like to come into work an hour earlier and go home an hour earlier at night?

I honestly don't mind it all that much.

Just found out that we didn't get DST here in Sweden until 1980... you'd think that people were smarter by then

The whole thing is just incredibly stupid. If people want to enjoy the sun after work, just change the work hours, don't mess up the way we measure time

It actually made sense back before we had electricity and air conditioning, and before we had to drive places in the dark.

Bush moving the start of it to the first Sunday in March is stupid... made more sense for the first month of April. Now it's dark when I go to work in the morning again.

Wasn't it Congress?

Glad he didn't veto that one.

Makes the last weeks of winter much more pleasant and tricks me into thinking it's Spring earlier than it is. I love it.

It stinks! The sun was up when the kids go to school. Now it's dark. I never liked it when I was a kid and I hate it even more now. And fucking Dubwah extended it!!

That feeling when you hop in the car, look at the clock, mentally subtract an hour, then add it right back because you realize that you've managed to go 6 months without changing it for daylight savings.

From what I heard DST is kinda outdated in modern times (much like many practices that came from old times).
