Infamous Second Son has gone gold

Looks fun, but how does the AI usually scale with difficulty in this franchise? Also, does it mostly involve going waypoint to waypoint shooting people? I'm preordering when that psn special goes live. PEACE.

The AI just aimbots more than usual and you die faster. You also encounter conduits more often and they seem to mover around more unpredictable.

Was it censorship? was it?

I laugh if it's the actual thing, then I'll probably be depressed.
I wouldn't call it "censorship", no. They referred to it as a "spoiler filter" in one of the vids, and they did say it was added just for that particular demo.

I want to experience both stories/karma but I know once I beat the game on one side I will feel less inclined to do it again on another. I'm thinking about going through it first on the hardest difficulty and just do evil to run through it without having to hold back on attacks. Then a second play through collecting all items and completing trophies on a normal good run.

Try to beanify my avatar... That's right /flex

No problem.

Sucker Punch have hidden a lot but you can assume it will be like the previous games.

I know what you mean. I beat each infamous game like 3-4 times each. I wish Sucker Punch added some insanely hard mode or something to increase replay value.

I played both 1 and 2 but I honestly couldn't restart it for all the trophies. What pushed you to keep replaying or how did you add excitement to your multiple playthroughs?

I really want to like this game as I haven't bought a single title for my Ps4 yet and am dying to pick up something worth playing.

Nothing about this game seems fresh or original and the graphics don't actually look that great so i'm not sure what all the praise is about. Technically they may be excellent but artistically it looks very bland imo. The only thing mildy interesting to me seems to be the destruction but i'm sure it's very limited as in most other games.

I will wait and see some review but i'm 99% sure this game is not my cup of tea which is odd seeing as third person action games are my fave genre. It just comes off as too generic to me and does absolutely nothing to pique my interest in it.
Yeah it's just like all those other open world super hero games out there!

I played though good/normal, evil/normal, and good/hard. I revisit the game later on any difficulty. I have a habit of replaying games.

I replayed Uncharted 1 over 7 times, 2 over 6 times, and 3 about 3 times. The last of us 4 times now.

I love replaying games.

AI uses aimbots
and their numbers increase later on

infamous is about traversal, running around the environment and taking out bad guys. Infamous 2 had some really cool missions, but Sucker Punch have not shown any cool missions in this game imo

Well, in their defence, Sucker Punch really hasn't shown much of the game. I think they should be commended for this - tons for us to discover on our own.

Tried my best to get the hood out of the way, but it's far from perfect so use if you like it.

I also hate parts of the hud on display here, especially the power meter. I do not think that it is the final version. These meters are designed by artists, and I doubt any of them over at suckerpunch looked at that meter and thought "wow this is really good looking". At least I would like to think that they don't think that a non-transparent black bar with a meter in it made with what looks like mspaint's spray tool looks good compared to the last games :)
Hud really has been my biggest problem with this so far.

I'll take it thank you! I'm hoping we can at least affect the transparency on the hub, that way it won't be as distracting for me.

I've Platinum'd the first two games. Looks like I have a long road ahead of me in the latter half of March.

Looking forward to it!

I'll have a blast trying to Platinum this and Ground Zeroes. Thank goodness for no online/multiplayer trophies for either game.

Evil/Hard usually is the best combination because to stay good, you often have to limit citizen casualties. But keeping casualties down is a bit harder on Hard, IIRC from inFamous 1. So I'll do Evil on Hard so I can just destroy/shoot anything without repercussion.

Because of this, I think Good powers would do the most damage compared to Evil. Evil is most area of damage in the previous games.

Kind of depressed we haven't seen a ton but to be honest just getting the game day 1 and not knowing the other two or more power sets is exciting as hell. I have never been this pumped for an infamous game before.

Edit: also who's doing the OT? Shouldn't it be up soon.

OT will be up in 3 days :)
