Makes this a somewhat expensive month for me, but it's worth it for her.
I will get that Momohime someday too. I'll just be jealous of you for now
.100hrs was just a guesstimate. I'll probably buy it next time I see it on sale. I'll probably skip Symphonia as well since Vesperia and Xillia have spoiled me and Symphonia doesn't really feel fun so far (3 hours in).

I love love loved Symphonia back when I played it on GameCube. The problem is that the gameplay in the Tales series has evolved a good bit since then. It's still worth playing, but there are other things I want to play first.

Yep similar feelings.
It doesn't tbh, especially if you are comparing gameplay to Vesperia or a newer Tales title,the plot is fairly predictable as well =S
Wished Namco did a little effort to the game but that NamBan now...

So suppose I have a choice between playing Lightning Returns and Symphonia (never played before) when I'm done with Bravely Default, which will be soon. What should I pick? I might end up doing a coin flip on it or something.

Lightning Returns was pretty good. The combat and time systems take some getting used to, and the final boss is kind of a cunt, but it's a pretty solid game. Symphonia, I have fond memories of, but it doesn't hold up as well as I'd hoped.
That said, FFX / FFX-2 HD comes out next week. That's the way to go if you want an FF game that actually feels like one.

Something about Catherine's face on that figure has never sat right with me...I think it's too hawkish.
To be fair, I'm 10 hours in and really enjoying it. It's too bad Titanfall comes out tomorrow and will probably steal all my free time.
Ugh I hear you. I still need to finish SMTIV (massive game), Tales of Xillia, Atelier Ayesha, and Lightning Returns. Plus the 5-megaton nuke known as Dark Souls 2 hits tomorrow. I wonder if I'll ever finish another RPG lol.
^^ I'm just going to wait for the PC version on Dark Souls 2, so that way i don't feel as horrible about not having finished the first one yet since having bought it day 1. I'm making progress though; just beat the 4 kings yesterday and am in the crystal caverns now.

I still have the female MC side of support hell to get through so I'm kinda holding off on it.
Currently aiming to get the despair platinum for Danganronpa.
And for whatever reason raising every character to level 99 in Theaterhythm.
No idea what game I want to tackle after that...

Yeah I haven't even finished all the supports on the male avatar XD, don't know if I return to Dangan Ronpa for a while; so glad I don't bother platinuming games XD, theaterhythm I became so crap on the game so fast lol.
You made up your mind on J-Stars Victory Vs? (I.e You will main Gintoki, with Shinpachi commenting on the side XD). Mine should arrive about a week after launch.

Only platinuming Danganronpa since it's pretty easy. And who doesn't love all that despair.
I'll probably wait for J-Stars Victory VS to hit bargain bin before buying it. It kinda looks like a mess, lol.
And with Atelier Escha & Logy coming out sometime this week and DW8 XL at the end of the month, I'll have my hands full.
I would have to disagree, whilst this game doesn't match any of the earlier FEs, it seems to have been built for beginners in mind so Kakusei would be an okay one to start with
Speaking of that, why haven't we gotten figures of the new Atelier games.

Picked up a billy from IKEA today and moved one of my detolfs, so I have the billy in the center with a detolf on each side. I'll post pics tomorrow or Wednesday when it's all done. About to go put the last glass door on in a bit.

Tales of symphonia is a game I liked a bit at first but it slowly grew on me as I got further in. I disliked most of the characters and their weird english voice overs but it grew on me and I became attached to the characters. The combat in the game was a ton of fun. I'd recommend sticking through with it if I were u guys. The visuals havent aged well though in chronicles and the drop to 30fps sucks.
As for fire emblem awakening I'd definitely put that on a to-do list if I were you. The gba FE titles are amazing as well and havent aged too badly. Id give them a go too before/after

So it turns out that we were right, Irrational Games has an Elizabeth Noir Statue up for pre-order. $250 for the regular statue and $500 for a statue signed by Ken Levine himself.

eh. I'm a HUGE fan of the character and that's not enough to convince me to get the piece. It looks way to simple, small and not very detailed for the asking price

Oh yeah almost forgot DW8 XL lol no idea if I wanna continue on PS3 or wait till I get a PS4, which I'm not getting any time soon. And yea if J-Stars is like Jump, something's gonna unbalanced the game badly XD.
Yep pretty much what casual mode really helps with lol, seen so many people break from classic peeps getting killed they restarted to casual. Casual helps progress by a lot XD
If anyone who played other newer Tales game and it's their first time playing Symphonia, they'll definitely have a harder time progressing through it though. Still can't believe NamBan kept it at the PS2's 30FPS smh on that.

According to the descriptions, it sounds like they were made in the USA without commissioning or outsourcing, that would probably explain the high price. I guess you could say Irrational is really going out with a bang on this one.

Oh my god, I was gonna go out tonight for the Dark Souls II midnight launch, but I'm too tired after putting the billy together. It was actually the glass doors that were the pain in the ass. I'll just grab it tomorrow. I picked up the new South Park game this afternoon for when Dark Souls II puts me in a rage-coma.

We are still able to change our shipment method? I only have tharja shipping from amiami this month. If im not concerned about shipment time and just want whats cheapest what should I opt for. I usually have at least 2-3 items when I order from amiami
When paying it lets you change the shipping method, or you can edit the order before hand. Though once you pay you're stuck and they won't let you change it after that.

So I think Tharja is my first pre-order that'll be shipping from Nippon-Yasan. I just paid for her via Paypal, but the order still says "Pre-Order - Awaiting Payment". I'm assuming this is just until they confirm the payment I just sent them, yes?
