Damn. We can't jump off the very top of the space needle. Seems the owners didn't allow that (Dafuq?). So I guess we have to make do with jumping off the highest point that is not the 'top' :/

Is each power set fully developed with their own basic and special attacks, travel abilities etc or do we simply get a few neon, a few smoke, and whatever else there is, and then combine them?
Cause having 3-5 complete power sets, with each one being fleshed out is sounding amazing, but potentially too good to be true.

I think the best part about Sucker Punch not revealing much is the excitement of the reveals following after the game releases. For a lot of games, the hype kind of hits it's peak before the game is out, and the stuff found in the game, though good, is just as expected, and there isn't often a surge of new interest.
With Second Son, once everything gets blown out, those who were on the edge about getting the game will have all the information they need, and at that time they can also in the same day buy the game and start playing it, riding on the same string of excitement instead of letting it run nearly dry, with no big surprises in the game itself to renew it. It's smart.
In other words, I'm excited and it's making me talk a lot of nonsense.

I didn't really bother with watching any gameplay videos etc. about this game because I didn't like the first inFamous. Now I have to say, I'm hyped and will definitely get this. From what I've seen the character feels really familiar, I'd probably be the same if I suddenly had superpowers.
The only thing I hate is that you can't pre-order this goddamn game on the EU PS Store... digital pre-ordering seems to be US only for now? I wonder how long it will take until Sony finally unifies the PSN so every store etc. has the same features and design. I mean it took them literally 4+ months to get us (EU) the new PSN website design so we could check your PS4 trophies (before that we only saw PS3/Vita stuff)... kind of ridiculous when you think about it. Should've designed the websites smarter so you don't have x different experiences for different regions.

Oh dear. I guess the time for me to go on a blackout is near. I have been dying for more details about the powers etc. but now that we are already this close I will try to avoid them. I think that reading all the juicy details at this point would cheapen the painful waiting that I (we all) have suffered through

Now, more than ever, I'm convinced that there is a power along those lines, but I really can't wait until next Friday. It's going to be a long frigging day at work, and hopefully my delivery man actually delivers it on time for a change. My wife is home all day, so she'll grab it for me. I ordered the CE, so no digital release for me. You have no idea how tempting it is to actually take the day off of work, but it'd mostly be a waste, and I hate not making money. Besides, I took today off because I'm sick, and I don't want to miss another day!
