Do we know if the 3DS version will be 60fps?
And here's this:Yeah, ye fellas are right; seems like I jumped the gun on this one!
whoa whoa whoa
you hating on Rainbow Cruise?
Ooh, nice update! The stage looks quite chaotic, and although I'm not sure how often I'll play on it, it looks great!
I hope there's a Pictochat-esque stage waiting for the 3DS version. That one was awesome.
I do wonder if Yoshi will end up going to the chiropractor, Bowser Style. Less ridable-Yoshi and more Yoshi Story esque.
And here's this:

Also I think that NSMB comment was an accidental slip since those rotating blocks do appear in 3D Land.

Damn, no update tonight. :/
By no update you mean 4 screenshots in one, right?
If you say so, broham.
First time the structure of this stage has confirmed. Also pretty sure the cliff area in screens one and two are new.If you say so, broham.
Ham makes you fat

Pic of the day. Here's some info on the Nintendo 3DS stage called Super Mario 3D Land! First, it advances by side-scrolling

Then you continue into the valley--it's in 3D Land, after all. The protruding stone blocks change the angles of the platforms.

After that, back to side-scrolling. Now it gets you moving--you'll have to trot downhill here.

And finally, you get back on rails to go farther into the stage. It takes roughly two minutes to complete a lap, and at the end you go into a giant pipe that takes you back to the beginning. I know this sequence goes above and beyond a traditional Pic of the Day, so consider this a little something extra on the side from me.
Just for the record, posting fake pics around the usual update time, even if they are old fakes, is probably a bad idea.
Awrr, something special on my hatchday! Thank you, Sakurai! <3

Looks like this is gonna be a much more interesting reincarnation of Brawl's Mushroomy Kingdom. Which makes me think, MK had a alternate version being underground. Would be interesting to see that get implemented here too.
Fun fact: 2 minutes is about how long rainbow cruise takes from start to finish.
I believe they design a lot of these looping stages around the two minute mark because that is the default time for a match.
With the exception of Peach's Castle in 64/Melee I find it interesting how all the stages based on Mario's own games are scrolling based ones.
I guess there's really not much of a different way in handling them.
That reminds me, I'm curious to see the 3DS Sonic stage. Sure, it'll likely be from Colors or Lost World, but I'm still curious.Should be a scrolling Sonic stage. Gotta go fast/Blast Processing.

Personally, I hope it's either Starlight Carnival if it's Colors, or Frozen Factory if it's Lost World.
FixedChemical Plant or bust, man. They should even put in the drowning music if you're under water for too long.
