You can be invaded while hollow no matter whati got invaded earlier while afk and hollow. the invader was waiting until i got back, that was pretty cool. can you be invaded while hollow with a covenant or item or something?
what's a good weapon for a high faith character?
Especially since you have to sit through two long ass loading screens to travel back for repairs and return to where you were.
You can be invaded while hollow no matter what
was that in the other games like this too? i guess my memory is hazy.
Which boss is actually the first boss?
Lol thisno

I can't see the Ring of Life Protection being allowed to stay in its current form for much longer, it's incredibly overpowered. As of now it prevents you from becoming hollow, saves all your souls when you die, is found very early on in the Wharf and and only costs 3000 souls to repair.
Loading screens? You must not be playing on 360. I dont see no loading here????

Meh, only problem I have with character creation is that it's so slow. It's very easy to make a goodlooking character.
Ehhh, that doesn't sound overpowered at all.

I actually got the ring twice just to cut in half the travels to Majula.Especially since you have to sit through two long ass loading screens to travel back for repairs and return to where you were.
So uhhhh... best class for beginners and the best starting gift?
Bandit or knight. If you're absolutely never going to touch magic, bandit. So uhhhh... best class for beginners and the best starting gift? I prefer not touching Magic, if possible.

He doesn't move.Where has straid pissed off to he not in his cell?
Depraived, nothing. Better to play "worst case scenario" for maximum fun.

FINISHED NG
WOW! It didn't start out strong compared to OG Dark Souls IMO, but the late game level design/artwork and bosses were the most memorable out of both games for me
He moved 5 feet to the left outside of his cellWhere has straid pissed off to he not in his cell?
Uuuh you sure about this? Seems like the most difficult class to me from the way it looks, hahaha.
I am a total beginner for Souls games.
He doesn't move.
Think you killed him.
Curse? No, Hollowed (when your max HP is capped) yes.
Also, theIf so, I'm going back there.black katana is a rare drop from those black gnome things in Belfry luna?
Curse seems to work differently in this game. I was cursed fully from a pot, and it said 'you are cursed' but there was a very quick timer that dropped and then it went away. In Dark Souls when you get cursed, you die and the start again with half health. I'm assuming that curse just turns you hollow?
I'm approaching mid/late game (just finished) betweenShrine of Amana) my opinion of the game has shot up through the roof.Iron Keep, Drangelic Castle, Shrine of Amana
Initially I was like : ok - the game is good, really good - better than other games for sure, but feels like it's lacking a bit of "soul".... then you sort of hit those levels - and it's kind of amazing.
Initial impressions would be 'good, but not as good as DKSI - but close' .... now I'm starting to think 'maybe ... maybe this is going to be better than DKSI'.
I also like- even though it's not a place I look forward to revisiting on NG+ and other playthroughs, it is one of those levels that gets sort of this base guttural reaction out of you. Going through that moment of 'what the fuck?! this is impossible' .... to figuring out how to best approach it, then realizing that it's actually not that bad once you figure out the 'tricks' of the level. The Black Gulch
I ended my session last night after just entering theand can't wait until I'm off work to get back at it.Undead Crypt

Is it just me, or is the needed souls for leveling up in Dark Souls II a lesser progression than the first one? Like, I'm in the 90s for SL right now and I'm just now hitting the 'need 10k+ souls to level up' barrier. I felt like I was spending more souls to level up earlier in Dark Souls. Perhaps it's because the game world is larger. Or feels larger at least.
It's in.Belfry Luna after you beat the Belfry Gargolyes
And also, Havest Valley question: my ass keeps gettingany good way to deal with this?poisoned,
Pop a lifegem the moment it happens and then another when the first one stops working, if you time it right you'll have hardly lost any HP.
Was I the only one who would routinely buy dozens of lifegems at a time from the merchant at Majula every time I went back there? They're so handy to have.
