Why, you can respec with a Soul Vessel.
I might go back to that character, though!

...
I actually went intothe first time around with only two great souls.Drangleic Castle
How does that work?
Yeah, I'd agree with that. It probably ended up that way because they designed the game around warping.Well you have to wounder how much one has to do with other. When making the game if you are planing to just give warp from the beginning you design it differently then if you expect the players to fluidly move back and forth though the world. You wouldn't be able to have the world so disconnected since it really would be a chore to move though. But that isn't something you have to worry about if you design it around being able to teleport right away.
You've gotta be kidding me with this bonfire location in...Aldia's Keep
Indeed. Its possible to take the fastest and easiest way in Dark Souls 1 as well. You just need to to do enough exploring to find the bonfires, then you usually get a sense on which direction you're going in further (meaning that you can choose to not explore more in the area you just been in). The only difference i can see is if one forget the way back from one bonfire to another, and ending up exploring an area that one didnt visit to begin with by accident.Fully in agreement with this. People who want to explore will, people who don't won't, regardless of how easy or not it is.
He wants to fight. He doesn't say it, but he wants to fight.
HIS ARMS ARE SCREAMING AT HIM TO HURT YOU
There is a 2nd bonfire in that place. Its located at.a hidden wall to the left when you go down to the acid area with the two rats
TheMaiden stood at the same spot she does when you do have all four souls, but her dialogue is different if you haven't gotten them all yet. She basically tells you in no uncertain terms that you're not ready, but she also doesn't bar the way.
Yeah, i just noticed that you mentioned that in an earlier post, sorryThat's the one I'm talking about.![]()
You also have to have a soul memory of over a million for the first time though I think. If it's lower then that and you don't have the boss souls then the door doesn't open.
AfterWhere's the stupid bonfire in Drangleic Castle?!
The oneIt's actually very close to the section you're talking about, lol.that's hidden behind an illusory wall. No idea how anyone would know it's there without player messages.
Once you enter that area, keep going right.Where's the stupid bonfire in Drangleic Castle?!
Like... Really?

*sigh* after me owning everything, a mimic gets me.
Afteryou open the main gates, go right of the stairs. There's two knights with big shields, take them out and turn to the right, it's right there. What a relief when you finally find it, the trek from Shaded Woods is loooong.

EDIT: Already answered with a better reply than mine![]()
Whaaaat. I didn't find this or the second one inAfteryou open the main gates, go right of the stairs. There's two knights with big shields, take them out and turn to the right, it's right there. What a relief when you finally find it, the trek from Shaded Woods is loooong.
Question about Soul Vessel:
I hear that if you're female, it fucks up your customization and maybe even turns you into a male? Is that true? If so, does using the coffin fix it (and re-gain your appearance customization)?
I might try respeccing my dex for the dragon fight (to use some magic support... yeah yeah I know, I just can't do it on a pure dex -_-) but not if that fucks up my carefully designed avatar, dammit.
Pilgrims,is there three fires to be lit per zone or just three total? Is lighting it enough, or does it reset if you don't go through the fog? I lit a fire and died to a phantom before I could go through the fog door.

I still can't get over the fact that there was messages warning me of a mimic chest at the start of Doors of Pharros, so I see a chest and just and whack it a couple times destroying it. 1 minute later I find the actual mimic chest and realize that was the one the messages are referring to. Didn't realize until then that I could destroy real chests.
At the thought of destroying an item, I'd rather just take my chances and get eaten by the mimic rather than accidentally press RB twice.
Good to hear, thanks.Didn't happen to me.
He's just not good at expressing his feelings, but yes. Give the man what he wants!
Really really. He's a hollow Heide Knight and he drops a sweet lightning sword that you want.
Wow, I had no idea you could even openNeat. I guess if you want to get the best emote in the game early that's a run worth making.Shrine of Winter without all four souls.
Yes, you just explained why it is worse off as a design choice for the game. Most people will pick the easiest and fastest way if provided. Sometimes you have to force them to do something to get them to enjoy it or for it to provide the proper impact. The warp in DS1 for instance had a sense of worth and scale to it since you lived though the game without it for so long. You knew the value since you lived without it.
Don't want this to come off as me being down on the game, I am loving the fuck out of it. Just the world and areas sufferer compared to DS1 because of this.
Where is the pardoner? I've finished the game but seem to have missed them...
You might have a point if the world was designed like Dark Souls 1's, but it isn't. There are several linear paths you can go, instead an interwoven world with shortcuts like in DkS1.
In context, the warp works fine and doesn't detract from the world because of the way DkS2's world is designed.
Just smack it once...

Ohhhh so that's what happens.Mine always died or got stuck somewhere behind, so I just left him be. So Adgayne aggros and needs pardoning? I assumed he would, but I wondered if just turning off your torch would make him and his minions calm down. Good thing I didn't try my luck.
What happens if you keep the place dark but attack his minions? Does he aggro too? He's a useful NPC actually, so I'm glad I didn't make him hostile. His armour set is pretty good for light armour, has some of the best elemental and curse resistances.
This.FUCKFUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOUTHE ANCIENT DRAGON
Which one is that? I forgot.Hahahahaha, that fucking emote.
Sorry to ask again but, when did you try it on your female toon? The wiki says this:Didn't happen to me.
I think we all know the true best emote is the channeler's trident dance.
I love busting that out in co-op after killing a boss. It's the ultimate victory dance.
I have character ADD. Get 10 hours in, reroll new class. Get another 10 hours in, reroll.
LOL I was the same, except I wasn't that bad! Rerolled every 2 hours or so, just couldn't get anything going for a while. :/
How did you find enoughsoul vessels ?
So I can't beat the first boss in.Iron Keep
I'm lvl 74, any boss I can sunbro farm to lvl up a little ?
