Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U Thread 5: Yarning for Yoshi

Link and Toon Link's Boomerangs have actually not been shown at all, so here's to hoping that Link has his regular Boomerang back, I hated that stupid Gale Boomerang.

Samus's Screw Attack hasn't been shown either. There's a couple moves here and there for characters that haven't been shown.

It is good to know my memory isn't sleeping on the job.

I liked that Link's gale boomerang helped differentiate between the two Link's in Brawl, but it wasn't nearly as effective as the plain Janerang.

In hindsight...Exactly why weren't link's bombs as strong or stronger than snake's grenades?

Because Link is doomed to suck

I'm still thinking...

April Nintendo Direct - New Character

E3 Direct - Some Starter Veterans and 1 New Character, then a segment at the end revealing Pac-Man.

Now that you mention it I can't remember seeing his boomerang. Maybe it's been changed and Sakurai is waiting to reveal it?

Maybe Link's boomerang has been replaced with Lucina?

Yea, I wonder if it will revert back to the original style or if his boomerang has some new gimmick or different properties?

I'm about the same thinking at the moment. If they're going to have Pac-Man Bandai Namco would probably pressure them into showing it at E3. I don't think they'd let them keep him as a secret character that isn't found until after release, as awesome as that would be.

If you dodge the Gale Boomerang on its return it can push other characters pretty far. Done right it can even shove people far from the stage.

Avoiding it is the trick though.

Same, but I think the one new Character will be Pac-Man - imagine if Nintendo had held off on revealing Pac-Man and MegaMan until E3, the hype would be IMMENSE.

Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U Thread 8: Summertime Sadness (aka the post E3 lull)

Lana Del Rey is cool, but nothing beats Animals by Martin Garrix.

EDIT: Oh whoops already done huh, oh well

|OT7| Making the Band (feat. Diddy Kong)

|OT7| Meta Knights of Future Past

|OT7| Escape from New Pork

Oh yeah, that'll be an exciting announcement to whet people's appetite at E3. "Look at these characters who were already in Smash 15 years ago!"

A big trailer that shows a lot of returning veterans (with little to no fanfare) alongside a lot of new information would probably be a big deal.

Considering the pace of these seems to be about 2 months per OT, OT7 should reference E3 somewhere in the title, since it'll be around during that time.

|OT7| E3 Megaton Bomb Shelter

Nintendo is going to fire pieces of Katy Perry into the crowd at this upcoming E3.

Honestly, OT7's title should be agreed on at the time. The best source for ideas is the daily pics themselves and we have a lot of material ahead of us for inspiration.

New Pork City should have had Hyrule Temple shoved inside of it.

I mean, I'm pretty sure there was at least one person in the world who kinda like Temple, so even that was more justified.

I'm pretty sure that one person was my cousin, as he just made us play it because he liked the Fire Emblem theme.

But seriously, I think Sakurai likes those stupidly huge stages like NPC, so I expect it to be one of the Brawl Stages in SSB4.

I wanna see some stages based off of older games. NES, SNES, N64, and NGC games all need representation.
