Cant that be said about Dark Souls 2 as well, that you can see every area that should be able to see?You can see every part of the world you should be able to see in Dark Souls, the world is connected and makes sense. In Dark Souls 2 there are a few vistas like these but generally you just go into a tight tunnel and end up somewhere completely different. The example given above is one of the best, I would love to hear someone try explaining how it makes sense.
Wow, some of the areas in the final-ish act are really gorgeous. In particular the top ofand thenAldias Keep. I just stood there for a minute or so looking around.Dragon Aerie

I just got the key from the ancient dragon, and went to Forest of The Fallen Giants to interact with one of the tree giants. The thing is, i can't seem to be able to get down there, near the second bonfire.
I think you need to be in the bell covenant. Playing offline would probably be a good idea too. I just kept resting at the bonfire and checking to see if he was there. Never got any drops before I got bored though. Can't get the goddamn dual-wielding phantom to spawn in Belfry Sol. Is there a trick to get him to be there?
I'm not sure what you are asking? There are3 trees you can activate. One next to the first turtle you encounter. A second after the pursuer. The third after the Kings door. Which one do you have problems getting to?
haha, yeah, but I can't think of one gutter that doesn't look like shit, though...Man the Gutter just fucking sucks. It really does. It's so poorly designed, it looks like shit too.

Which one progress the story?
Has anyone solo'd the gargoyles as a melee character? I don't see how its possible because as soon as you have one of em lined up for an attack you got 3 more that beat the shit out of you from behind and sideways. My poor summoned ally died within seconds after stepping out the mist door![]()

I can't seem to find it in FoTFG, or is it somewhere else?

going through some stuff I still haven't figured out how you open the dooror the one indown the well/majula. do you need a specific key, ring, gender to do that or something?shrine of amana
That's the only way. Take off your armor if you haven't allready. Run to him, hit his back leg 3 times. Now he either stomps or flies up. Rinse repeat. ALLWAYS stay close to his leg/tail to provoke a stomp. As far as the AOE goes, you just have to get better at dodging it. This might sound cocky, but it's the only way to kill him as a meele imho.
I thinkandDragon Aeriein general are heavily underused. Especially if you consider the promo shots with thedragons.dragon/bridge

You can block his AOE with the Gyrm greatshield so you don't need to dodge anything.
So I'm in BGlackand I've heard there's a hidden bonfire before the boss. Anyone know where it is?ulch
spoiler]Second bonfire, down the ladder, cross the bridge[/spoiler]
Question about the dudewho wants you to kill the ladder guy
I bought the ladder replica to give to him but he said he had sights on a new target. I didn't want to take the risk so i killed him then and there. What happens with that guy if you leave him alive?
Frustration aheadJust arrived at Shrine of Amana. Hauntingly beautiful.
Bear with me here, still pretty confused.Down the ladder next to the second bonfire, or is it outside the castle. Which i need to fall down and fight a bunch of undead. Also, which bridge?
Sorry, my idiocity is reaching it's max today. >.>

Hahahhaahaha. Sorry. I had to. You'll understand. Trust me.
Nothing. He asks you to kill other people(which you don't have to, you can buy their items aswell) and then get a reward.
In something of a reversal, I managed to miss the first bonfire inwith my second character, whereas I managed to miss the second bonfire with my first character. So I've technically been to both bonfires in there at some point, but hell if I could tell you where they are in relation to one another. The Gutter
For the next game I'm hoping From decides they don't need toI'm pretty thoroughly ready for them to retire that level archetype.revisit the Valley of Defilement again.
Navlan is a douche...
He's like an itchy hemmorhoird, he bothers you at the worst times.
Whaaaaat.Should i totally regret this decision? Or would it have gotten me some totally rad stuff
Only problem is that the AoE does 2 ticks followed by the dragon landing on your head. So unless you respecc into a shitload of stamina you'll still die. And even then I would rather use Havel's shield because it draws less stamina.
Trying to tank the fire is just set up to fail imho. At some point you slightly look into the wrong way and die.
Just my experience. Everybody plays different but I couldn't get it to work this way.
At least TBG is short as hell and had a boss-adjacent bonfire.I was okay with. Quite liked it actually, at least on my first playthrough, since navigation benefited greatly fromThe Gutterkeeping a torch in one hand. There wasn't enough of that in the game. I have 2:30 hours left on my torch with nothing to really use it on.
, on the other hand, is absolutely abysmal level design. Makes Lost Izalith seem like Tower of Latria.Black Gulch
Am I seriously the only person to have this much trouble with the Gutter? I feel like I'm doing something wrong. The dogs are just so stupidly overpowered...
