But after trading in my PS3 and all those games, and about 30 360 games I hadn't touched in years, I got the PS4 and Second Son. Only had to pay $2.47

Why? Try playing it, it's really very good and lasts 7 hours or so.

So I've been given a 32 inch screen TV to replace my PC monitor. I've been using it to play PC and console games. How far should I be from the TV so it's not harmful to my eyes and how far should I be in order to play games without seeing dem pixels.
Note: My PC sucks and can only display up to around 720p
No sit farther so the resolution doesn't matter non-sense.

I know, but my time is pretty limited so I had to weigh what wanted to play. And, yeah, I'll miss persona, but hopefully it hits the Vita eventually :/

Sadly Steamworld Dig didn't really do it for me, the physics and charm felt very flat to me. I guess it might grow on me if I put more time into it?

Oh. Then at least you have a use for the $400 hw. You've now ensured your Vita library will continue to grow.
And if, as a responsible PS owner, you have PS+, you should already have PS4 games like Don't Starve (curse you Klei, patch the Steam version with achievements!), Contrast and Outlast to play on your Vita.
It's solid, but the art style really didn't click for me. It's better once you get some abilities unlocked, but unfortunately it's at it's best once you get the spark ability (double jump) at the end of the game (it's the last ability you get).

But, I'm going to be completely honest here. It feels weird. I've been a Xbox guy from the original through the 360, and I even got the Xbox One at launch. Don't get me wrong, I love the Xbox One, great system, but I feel like it lacks a vision.
For the PS4, it was built with the remote play, and allegedly the VR w/ Project Morpheus in mind. The hardware is better, which means that generally the muliplats will run better on it. Considering that 95% of the games I play are multiplat it just made sense.
I dunno, after playing my buddy's PS4 and hearing about where they're taking the system - I've pretty much jumped on the Sony bandwagon. I'll be getting all the multiplats on PS4, except for the occasional shooter or sports game that some friends on Xbox One will be getting.
Feels strange to switch teams. But, I guess this means that Sony is doing something right haha
Need to get some work done, but looking forward to setting it up and playing some inFamous later this afternoon.

Yep. Everything about the PS4 made sense. If the Xbox had the better multiplat titles I would have jumped there and buy a PS4 later for the JRPG goodies and exclusives.
To be honest, If I was still my teenager self, I still would have bought a PS4 because the multiplat games isn't as important to me than the JRPG games most Sony platforms get in their lifetime. This is because I wouldn't have the money and resources to buy multiple consoles back then. This is just me though.
Now I highly encourage buying both or the three of them if the exclusives on the other platforms interest you.

Why do I always read the comments section? Instead of the somewhat justifiable "Where are the AAA games Sony?" we have "Why is this on Vita?".
I don't want to play too many games at the same time and I'm playing Kid Icarus on 3DS(not to mention that I have to finish MGR and Uncharted 2)...but yeah, I may give it a try
I also have backlogg'd Guacamelee and Mutant Blobs and I heard they're pretty short too

Anyway, I warmly urge you guys picking up FEZ on tuesday to stay away from guides, even when the puzzles seem impossible.

Oh my. The share button is seriously flawed. I don't to upload a clip to facebook. I just want to edit a clip and save it to the goddamn system. I don't want to share it. I want to edit and save it. It doesn't even allow you to trim the video or access the editing tools without uploading it to facebook. This console purchase is getting worse all the time. Thankfully remote play is so ridiculously amazing. That alone makes it worth it. Well that and the good games.

The good news is that it spits out 1 bronze, 1 silver and 3 gold trophies (100% completion) after five minutes of play!
The bad news is I left my 3 year old with my vita and she came running into the kitchen crying...

Dear Sony:
Make it able for your consumers to delete the Welcome Park, Parental Control (or integrate it with the system settings), Near etc.
Make the Music-, Video- and Photoapp into one "media app".
Get rid of the 100 application limit
I like the psn app but I see it as a starting point for where it needs to be.
If Sony are really going the whole hog with "social" gaming and connected experiences, they can definitely take this platform much further.
Off the top of my head, I'd like to see something resembling a Facebook news feed with updates, news, latest games, promotions and shared videos all compiled in a timeline.
I'm sure clever internet types could come up with something more revolutionary but I don't think it needs a revolution, just a more familiar evolution.

You can select Facebook, trim the video, then not upload it and the trimmed video should still be there in your video files I think. You need a Facebook account set up, though. I'm looking forward to USB storage for this stuff.
Thought it was cheaper before.

Got my $10 code today as well. Interestingly enough, though, it says I spent $97.95! I know I bought LBP Vita and pre-ordered Second Son, but they still don't add up to almost $100.00 (I got LBP at the sale price). After checking my purchase history, it turns out they added in my purchases of the 2 GOW PSP games I made earlier in the morning... before the store update!

The sweet spot is always to sit 1.5x the screen size away. So for a 32", sit 55" away. Just over 4.5 feet away.
If you sit much closer than 1.5x the size, you'll see the pixels. And if you sit much further away, you lose the benefit of the high resolution.
It counts any purchase between Mar 11 and 18 Pacific, not restricted to store update times.
I've never had a problem on my iPhone 5. It loads much faster than the Vita does at least.
Yeah, I don't think Sony is ever going to fix that. PS3 is last-gen.
