I agree with you on this one. Sakurai's logic is more an art than a science, but I can agree with you on two fronts:
- The Kirby series made the same jump in 1 character to 3 unique ones from Melee to Brawl. Regardless of potentially planned and inevitably scrapped content, for example Dedede appearing in SSB, I'm using information that only applied to the final releases. Even though I personally think slots are better spent elsewhere, I can absolutely see Kid Icarus getting new reps.
- That being said, due to the nature of the beast, I can also see a situation where the new 2 KI reps aren't completely unique simply due to the amount of content they're developing. If one is Hades, Medusa or that dude from Brutal Legend, I can absolutely see another Ganondorf in Melee situation happening.
- I also don't think Ridley's happening because of his titan-sized appearances in Brawl. Sure, he was smaller in Melee's opening, but that had plenty of things that didn't come to fruition. I feel that in Sakurai's mind, he's more of a living platform or emergent gameplay mechanic than a fully-fledged character.

I actually really like the idea of Kamek as a playable character and villain for the Yoshi series. The counter points for this were usually that Kamek doesn't differentiate much from Magikoopas to not get looked at as "lol laziness" or that Mario series (and its direct relations) don't need more playable combatants.
Sucks too, I think a crafy wizard zipping about on a broom and trolling with hexes that change your state or the state of interactables he could summon (think of the Pirahna Plant boss in Yoshi's Island) would be hilarious.

Because that's a specific part of the Leg and likely the specific location they are thinking of. It's also home to the two iconic cliffs.

Except not at all? At most, she should be Marth's alt costume or an AT along with another FE character like Anna in some sort of tag team.
If Ike is back or even Roy, I want them to stick closer to their actual character in the games. Ike was never slow and both had long range attacks. Roy especially should have had fire properities in his attacks kind of like how they made it in Project M. Also really wish Samus had different beam types.

I think it is because it is better to show small things like items in the Wii U version since it would be more clear and wouldn't require image to be zoomed in a lot.
OR MAYBE, its a conspiracy, to get people who like items to buy the wii u version. What does that mean, simple more casuals flooding the already small wii u install base, leading to the erosion of the competitive scene, effectively kill smash 4's tournament viability before its released. WAKE UP PEOPLE Sakurai is out to kill the smash tourney scene. believe it.
Also nintendos qol is a joint operation between them and airline companies too release chemtrails over the world to get the populace to buy more wii u's

Krystal is an awful character, and I really don't know why people keep requesting her, if so many also think that we've already got more than enough characters for the Star Fox franchise, and already were complaining about it getting 3 in Brawl.
