Not really you had to do it already.....you should know the mechanic.
The funny thing is, I got stuck later in
Drangleic Castle

Quicker movement? Dark Souls 2? Does not compute(Unless you keep yourself above 50%).
Edit:
Seems to happen so randomly that it seems like one, however I have heard that it could be a random chance to become human every time you're summoned, with the large white soapstone giving you better chances.
I understand that you don't mean it as an insult, I just can't see or understand the pokemon similarities in terms of progression. DS2 is far less linear than pokemon. You can't fight the 3rd gym before the 1st gym in pokemon. In DS2, we don't technically know what the "first" Old One is.
Are you only talking about the physical layout of each distinct area? Or actual game progression?
For the first time ever, i love PvP in a souls game. I say that after a lot of PvP in both of the first games also.Poise is useless in Pvp in 90% of cases. Its like Demons Souls in that regard where everything would stagger you. However there was nowhere near as much stun locking. Thats where ADP and rings like Old Sun ring come in to counteract this. Just watching streams and hardly anyone fishes for back stabs let alone successfully lands one. I think DS2 PvP looks to be better than DkS PvP in that regard. Some nerfs may be needed like some magic spells.
Ok Neogaf I admit. I fucking suck at killing bosses at this game. Already stuck for an hour on. Any tips? The Rotten One

I love that melee isn't the only option any more, lots of spells are for PvP like Dark Hail which fans out, or the spells with better tracking, but they require deep stat investments and multiple attunement slots. It really adds to the diversity of opponents you find.
The guard break leading to a counter is great also, really changes how you have to turtle. Shield up to bait a guard break leaves the attacker open, but if timed wrong you can get skewered.
The poise changes are great. They just aren't fully understood yet. It's a combo of weapon and str stats now. High strength can break poise with even small weapons, giving players more options instead of the massive weapons. If you see a guy tossing spells and lightning its a safe bet that is straight swords can't break your poise if you have medium armor. Full heavy armor can still stand toe to toe with big weapons, but its an arms race between the poise and strength.
My dex and str character can break some poise with a long sword. I can always break it with an ultra great sword, unless they are wearing Havel or something as big.
The change to roll distance is awesome. You can out roll spears and halberds if you stat adaptability and keep light armor, but those weapons do far less poise damage, so you can take a hit or two without getting stunned. The long rolls and short rolls at the same speed really changes things up more than the fat roll ever did.
Those are my thoughts after a lot of PvP so far. Lots of new variety in ways to attack and defend.
Pain in the butt for me as well. Figure out the rolling for his side sweep attack is the toughest. Roll to the sides on his down attack. Limit your attacks to two swings, dont get greedy and be patient. If you are doing crap damage you can try his arms and they will fall off eventually, but it takes awhile. Good luck and happy rolling.Ok Neogaf I admit. I fucking suck at killing bosses at this game. Already stuck for an hour on. Any tips? The Rotten One
Who would have thought that it is not the BoB, but the Blue Sentinels that gets annoying with continuous (95% magic wielding(yay)) invasions? If only sin would get cleared on starting ng+...
Apparently you can be summoned into rat coward pvp without xbox live gold.
thanks. that's a bit cryptic. i was running around in empty hallways searching for levers the whole time. i wonder what'll happen if you kill them and they don't respawn.
The shield knock is the only thing that keeps tank builds balanced. You just have to use more strategy, instead of taking the hits and plowing everyone over. If you take your attack when they try a guard break, they are going to take a few hits and you poise through the shield attack.I think the shield knock is a bit too much. More chip dmg and higher stamina drain would be more fair as now many tanks builds aren't really viable. Crits also do way too much dmg 1.5k-3k and I don't like the backroll at all.
Apart from downgraded animations I would say DS2 PvP is a lot more balanced and fun than DS1. If only the speed was higher it may even be on par with DeS.
So Faith users, what are some good Chimes to go after? I currently only have the original Cleric's Sacred Chime, wondering if there is anything much better to get...
Also, what other spells aside from lightning spear should I go for?
Also, where does Straid go after I unpetrify him?
where does Straid go after I unpetrify him?
he's still there, chilling on the right wall, watching you die to all those poof-mummies.
edit: beaten by steel - should've worn my steel protection ring. :B
Anyone?
Also, where does Straid go after I unpetrify him?
Worst enemies in the game... I called them "Bellyflops"

Is it good? Thought about making it but would have to respec for that str req.Should I feel bad using the curved dragon greatsword in pvp?
That is the key to that fight. People on opposite sites.Ok, nm.beaten. Pretty funny. I had a NPC summon with a player summon. They were at opposites sides of it so it kept turning around over and over and stamping it's legs so we were able to just wail on it until it died. Love confused AI.spider boss
I hate these fuckers too!Worst enemies in the game... I called them "Bellyflops"
Hate to say it but the new mimic designs kinda sucks.
they should've made different object mimics. like barrels, where you roll into them to get to an item and suddenly one of them starts chomping on your face.
I think the pacing is similar, even if you make a fair point about badge progression. The way levels are separated and the way you often go off-track to do side shit is similar IMO.

Where can I farm Twinkling Titanite?

We have similiar builds. I also have a fully upgraded Murakuno but I fucking hate it since for some reason it always decides to spin my character 180 degrees when attacking with it. Screwed me over many duels.I'm mainly a dex build.. just put 20 in str to two hand it. It shoots projectiles very far on it's heavy attack, and causes knockdown. I feel very cheap when I use that..... Overall the curved greatsword category is my favorite, used the murakuma exclusively before that. Now my dragon greatsword does like 700+ damage with magic weapon on it. (I used spice to get greater magic weapon requirements down to 10 int).

Which enemies?
The knights with the halberds drop them.
How fun is dual wielding? I'm going to try that or sorcery next once I finish this Faith playthrough.
Man... helped around ~30-35 dudes fight (mostly win) against Lost Sinner in NG+. Then when I go human I only saw 1 summon sign in 15 minutes of waiting (and I failed to summon him...)
Gave it a try solo, got my ass kicked, thanks to the pyro's. Went to Belfry Luna to get the key so I can light the Lost Sinner boss room up, make it a bit easier... Gargoyles are a bitch in NG+! Again, zero summon signs around and if I wait for a bit I get invaded.

How do you find faith? Can you do it purely or do you have to support it with Str/Dex and a weapon early on?
