The Avengers one has the excuse that it's a production still. Most if not all of those look like shit out of context. The X-Men one is an actual official shot from the movie that has suposedly been touched up and has had the final touches put on it and it still comes out looking worse.

I really see no problem with them being "dudes with special powers" that somehow started popping up after New York. Once GotG and Dr. Strange get put in there it's balls to the wall crazy anyways. And they can't use Magneto, so whatever will do. (Wasn't that added in after their conception anyway?)

... I'm just saying, from the episodes I've seen that's the only way they try and cohesively tie the show together, and it's pretty clumsy.

Xmen Quicksilver over Avengers all day. They both look silly, but only one looks like he's wearing a silly costume for performing in front of guests at Disney World, while the other looks like a hipster doofus wearing hipster doofus clothing. I'll be shocked if the Singer version isn't the more interesting/less boring version to watch.

DoFP Quicksilver looks like a bad cosplay version of Quicksilver. AoU isn't perfect, but it shits on DoFP Quicksilver from a great height.

Apart from the X-men version being so laughably shitty I love that they put it on a cover like it's the best they've got and that they're actually proud of it. The cover looks like some sort of fucking crossover between Spy Kids & Animorphs...

It's like we are regressing several decades in the costume and makeup departments when the original power rangers still look more stylish and awesome than these superheroes. Hopefully tons of CGI will fix that a bit.
